𝗧𝗢𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗔𝗗𝗟𝗜𝗡𝗘, 𝗠𝗜𝗗𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧

The 𝟯𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 (𝗜𝗡𝗪𝗪) is now open for submissions for Philippine and ASEAN writers

The Mindanao Creative Writers Group (MCWG), the Mindanao Creative & Cultural Workers Group, Inc. (MCCWG), the MSU- Iligan Institute of Technology's Center for Culture and Arts, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) are now accepting submissions to the 30th Iligan National Writers Workshop.
The workshop will be held on 4 to 9 December 2023.

𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗿𝗲
✷ Poetry — A suite of five poems (3 slots)
✷ Fiction— Short fiction of not more than 30 pages (2 slots)
✷ Excerpt of a Novel with summary in English (2 slots)
✷ Creative Non-Fiction — in English only (2 slots)
Fellowships for the following genre will be determined through contests:
✷ Drama: 2023 Peter’s Play - One-act play
✷ Children's Literature: Short Story for Children
✷ The Graphic Novel

Please wait for the announcement of rules and other requirements for these literary contests. The first three winners of each category will become INWW fellows this year.

The contests open on July 01, 2023, and end on October 31, 2023.
INWW also accepts submissions of literary forms that defy conventional genres.

𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲
Mindanao languages and their variants or dialects (including the creolized or hybridized, and experimental forms), English, Cebuano, Hiligaynon, Waray, Samareño, Tagalog, Filipino, and any ASEAN language (Thai, Khmer, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, etc) are accepted, but should be accompanied with an English translation.
For CNF, only English is accepted.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Applicants between the ages 18-45 who have attended regional workshops, students or graduates of Creative Writing courses, and professional writers are qualified. The age limit was established to encourage younger writers to participate.
𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 is on 30 September, 2023
