BSBA Stakeholders’ Forum 2026
College of Business | Torres Capitol College, Inc.�January 23, 2026
The College of Business of Torres Capitol College, Inc. successfully conducted its BSBA Stakeholders’ Forum 2026, anchored on the theme:

“Strengthening Partnerships, Re-aligning Directions: Shaping an Outcomes-Based Business Education.”

The forum was convened as part of the College’s continuing commitment to academic excellence, relevance, and social responsibility, and as a strategic initiative to review and enhance the College Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives (VMGO) and the undergraduate BSBA curriculum in alignment with the Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) framework and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) policies and standards.

Program Flow and Key Messages
The program formally opened with a prayer, the national anthem, and institutional hymns, setting a reflective and collaborative tone for the gathering. This was followed by the Opening Remarks of Dr. Ana Lee P. Garcia, LPT, DM, Dean of the College of Business, who welcomed the stakeholders and emphasized the importance of partnership, dialogue, and shared responsibility in ensuring quality and relevant business education.

The Rationale of the Stakeholders’ Forum was delivered by Dr. Arnel V. Bangis, DM, Vice President for Academic Affairs. In his message, Dr. Bangis highlighted that the forum is a vital component of the College’s quality assurance and continuous improvement processes, particularly in preparing the revised BSBA curriculum for implementation and future submission to CHED. He emphasized that meaningful curriculum development is grounded in consultation with industry, government, alumni, and community partners, ensuring that graduates are equipped with relevant knowledge, practical skills, ethical values, and professional competencies for employability, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
The forum was further enriched by the Message of the College President, Ma’am Feelin Torres-Jumamil, MAN, RN, who reaffirmed the institution’s strong commitment to outcomes-based, industry-responsive, and values-driven education. She expressed her gratitude to the stakeholders for their continued support and active role in shaping the academic direction of the College of Business.

This was followed by the Presentation of the Department VMGO, Existing Curriculum, and Current Initiatives, which served as the basis for the succeeding Suggestions and Discussions, Continuation of Stakeholders’ Dialogue, and the Synthesis of Agreements and Action Plans, ensuring that all recommendations were carefully documented for integration into curriculum enhancement and action planning.

The BSBA Department welcomed the new year with a short yet meaningful meeting attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Program Head, and faculty members. The gathering also served as an opportunity to formally and warmly welcome Dr. Ana Lee P. Garcia, the newly appointed Dean of the School of Business.
The meeting became a collaborative discussion where all participants actively shared insights, ideas, and plans for the department. Conversations focused on strengthening academic leadership, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring alignment with CHED guidelines and institutional policies.
Faculty members, together with the department’s academic leaders, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming second semester and the semesters ahead. Initial discussions highlighted collective plans for curriculum enhancement, improvement of subject outputs, expansion of industry partnerships, and the conduct of trainings and seminars relevant to the department’s growth.
