𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟴𝟵% 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗖𝗘𝗘𝗠𝗦𝗢 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿-𝗨𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗔𝗖𝗘𝗗𝗟𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗻 🏆

The College of Education English Major Students Organization (CEEMSO) celebrates its achievement as the Overall 1st Runner-Up in this year’s 65th College Founding Anniversary, held yesterday, August 19, 2026, at the Old Building, College of Education.

The one-day celebration gathered the academic organizations of the College of Education, upholding the spirit of unity and camaraderie. The celebration featured various competitions, where CEEMSOnians emerged as 3rd Runner-Up in the Yell Competition, Champion in the Mass Dance Competition, and 1st Runner-Up in the Amazing Race.

The CEEMSOnians also received a total of ₱2,850 from the generous officials and faculty of the College, including Prof. Manar H. Macapodi, MAELT; CEEMSO Adviser, Prof. Sittie Hafsah M. Lomangco, PhD; Secondary Department Chairperson; Prof. Roseniya G. Tamano, PhD; and Asst. Dean Dr. Monasalam M. Disangcopan. The CEEMSOnians used the amount to celebrate their victory at the MSU Grandstand.

Once again, CEEMSOnians proudly show that they excel not only within the four corners of the classroom but also in the college-wide and university-wide competitions. Dakilang Panalo, Dakilang CEEMSO!

𝘾𝙀𝙀𝙈𝙎𝙊 𝙏𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝘿𝙤 𝘿𝙖𝙮

The College of Education English Major Students Organization (CEEMSO) joined forces with other academic organizations today, August 16, 2026, to make the College clean, fresh, and welcoming for the upcoming back-to-school.

Organized by the Education Students' Organization, the activity also became an avenue for CEEMSOnians to bond with one another and foster a welcoming environment within the community.

The College of Education English Major Students Organization (CEEMSO) proudly celebrates the remarkable achievement of the CEEMSOnians and CEDtizens who represented the College of Education in the 2026 University Literary Competition, held on August 13 for the English Category and August 14 for the Filipino Category.

With confidence, creativity, and dedication, our talented representatives showcased their skills in the performing arts of literature, bringing pride and distinction to the College of Education. Their performances not only demonstrated their talents but also introduced a new flame of excellence that carried them through to the final rounds of the competition.

The CEDtizens successfully secured five spots in the following categories:

🏆 Extemporaneous Speech
🏆 Sabayang Pagbigkas
🏆 Aktuwal na Talumpati
🏆 Balagtasan

Meanwhile, the Reader’s Theater team courageously took the stage and fought with determination. Although they fell short of advancing, their performance was nothing short of commendable. Their courage, teamwork, and passion were truly worth celebrating.

Once again, the CEEMSOnians and CEDtizens have shown the competitiveness, creativity, and excellence that the College of Education proudly carries. More than the spots earned, their participation reflects the dedication and passion of students who continue to use their voices, talents, and artistry to inspire others.

𝘾𝙀𝙀𝙈𝙎𝙊 𝙅𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙁𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙒𝙚𝙗𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧

The College of Education English Major Students Organization (CEEMSO) officers participated in the Fundraising Capacity-Building Webinar organized by the MSU-Main Supreme Student Government (MSU-SSG) today, August 15, 2026, via Google Meet.

The webinar aimed to equip student leaders with essential knowledge, strategies, and practical approaches to fundraising in support of their organizations’ future projects and programs.

Ms. Marie Keil S. Fernandez, Deputy Executive Director of Venture for Fund Raising, Inc., served as the guest speaker. Drawing from her professional experience in fundraising, she discussed effective strategies for building meaningful relationships and establishing connections with potential donors.

She also shared practical tips and possible fundraising activities that CEEMSO may explore to generate resources and sustain its initiatives and programs.

Through opportunities such as this, CEEMSO continues to strengthen its officers’ leadership capacities and equip them with skills that can contribute to the organization’s growth and service to its members.

In our commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible student leadership, the College of Education English Major Students Organization (CEEMSO) officially announces the approved Organization Fee for the First Semester of Academic Year 2026–2027, amounting to ₱200.00.

The organization fee was duly approved by the Organization Adviser and Officials. This contribution will support the implementation of the organization's academic, leadership, cultural, and student development programs and activities throughout the semester.

The breakdown of the organization fee is reflected in the official infographic for the guidance of all English major students.

Collection of the organization fee shall be conducted in accordance with the official schedule and guidelines set by CEEMSO. We encourage everyone to extend their cooperation as we continue working together toward a productive, meaningful, and successful semester.

Members of the College of Education English Major Students Organization (CEEMSO) participated in Sikhay Likha: Digital Literacy and Canva Workshop for Enhancing Essential Digital Skills today, July 30, 2026, via Zoom.

The workshop aimed to equip student-leaders with the knowledge and practical skills needed to thrive in today's digital world. Through this capacity-building initiative, participants had the opportunity to enhance their digital literacy, explore their creativity, and strengthen their essential digital competencies.

The event brought together students from various parts of the Philippines, faculty members from different state universities, and distinguished guests, including the Governor of Romblon, Hon. Trina Firmalo-Fabic. CEEMSOnians are grateful for the opportunity to participate in this meaningful learning experience and remain committed to continuously developing the skills needed to excel in the digital age.

The graduating members of the College of Education English Major Students Organization (CEEMSO) proudly walked alongside their beloved parents as they received academic awards during the College of Education Graduates' Tribute to Parents, Recognition Rites, and Hooding Ceremony held on July 27, 2026, at Ayala Resort Hotel, Mindanao State University–Marawi City.

The ceremony celebrated the graduates' years of perseverance, countless sleepless nights, unwavering dedication, and the challenges they overcame throughout their academic journey. As each medal was bestowed, it symbolized not only academic excellence but also the sacrifices, prayers, and unconditional support of the parents who stood beside them every step of the way.

As the graduates proudly carry the name "Rinayag," which means light, may they continue to illuminate the lives of others through their knowledge, lead with integrity, and serve with compassion and purpose wherever their paths may lead.

Congratulations, Batch Rinayag, on this remarkable milestone! May Allah (SWT) continue to guide your journey, bless your endeavors, and grant you success in all that lies ahead.
