Monalyn B. Ampuan, Head of the Lanao del Sur - Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office, emphasized during the opening ceremony of Marawi's Best Trade Fair 2026 that taking on the brave path of entrepreneurship means truly knowing your customers, carefully tracking your costs, and treating your venture as a serious business with a clear understanding of its strengths and weaknesses.

​As LEDIPO Head Ampuan highlighted, local entrepreneurs must continuously improve both their products and themselves, noting ongoing provincial efforts like the Ranao Incentive and Investments Code and strong academe partnerships to drive inclusive regional development.

Tago, CPA during the opening ceremony of Marawi's Best Trade Fair 2026 held this morning, August 20, 2026, where he emphasized that local entrepreneurs are given more than just a marketplace—they are provided a vital platform to showcase their craft, prove the value of local ingenuity, and drive inclusive economic development.

​As President Tago highlighted in his message of continuity and progress under the theme: “MSU @ 65: Kultura, Kahusayan, at Kaunlaran tungo sa isang Inklusibong Pamantasan,” let us commit to building a resilient, innovative economy that remains deeply rooted in our Meranaw heritage. He reminded everyone that as we continue the journey of rebuilding and reimagining Marawi, this event stands to inspire new partnerships, open new opportunities, and encourage our people to dream bigger by bringing our rich culture and traditions to the global stage.

The *College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics (CNSM), MSU–Main Campus*, together with the *Mamitua Saber Institute of Research and Creation (MSIRC)* under the *Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, Extension, and Development (OVCRED)*, invites faculty members, researchers, and students across *MSU–Marawi* to participate in the *25th Research Spotlight*.

Interested presenters are requested to submit a *Request for Spotlight* together with the following requirements:

• Request for Spotlight
• Three (3) printed copies of the completed research paper or extended abstract
• Certification and Endorsement Form for Spotlight
• Panel Approval Sheet, for thesis or dissertation outputs
• Recommendation from the adviser or consent from the student and other author(s), when the presenter is not the principal or corresponding author
• Appropriate clearance from the Research Review Committee, when applicable, such as Ethics Clearance

📌 *Please note:* All requirements must be submitted *in hard copy*. Soft copy submissions will not be accepted.
