On July 25, 2026, the Supreme Student Council (SSC) A.Y. 2025โ€“2026 of RC-AKICFI Main held its annual Freshmania at the RC-AKICFI SLS Gymnasium, welcoming incoming freshmen and transferees into the academic community and giving them the opportunity to build lasting memories and form lifelong friendships.

Inspired by Southeast Asia's premier MOBA game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the theme transformed the RC-AKICFI SLS Gymnasium into a high-energy battlefield where students gathered in their assigned teams to showcase their skills and strategies.

The event kicked off with a lively Zumba session, serving as an energetic warm-up before the activities began. This was followed by a cheering competition, where each team showcased its spirit and creativity through enthusiastic chants and dynamic performances.

Welcoming the newest members of the Khwarizmian community, Sir Albanie M. Cabugatan, SSC Coordinator for A.Y. 2025โ€“2026, emphasized the purpose of the orientation by encouraging students to build meaningful connections. He also roamed the gym floor, allowing students to introduce themselves and share why they chose RC-AKICFI.

Ten creative teams, each named after iconic territories in the Land of Dawn, competed in a series of station games that tested their teamwork, communication, and strategy while giving everyone an opportunity to bond.

The event concluded with an awarding ceremony recognizing the top-performing teams. Beyond the competition, participants also celebrated the friendships and experiences they gained throughout the day.

Freshmania 2026 provided incoming students and transferees with an opportunity to connect with their fellow Khwarizmians through games, teamwork, and shared experiences as they began their journey at RC-AKICFI Main.

The morning program honored students who demonstrated academic excellence across different trimesters. Honors Program awardees from various departments received certificates of recognition, while top performers in the mock board examinations were also recognized for their outstanding performance.

Adding inspiration to the celebration, Mohammad Faiz G**o, CPA, an RC-AKICFI alumnus and Accountancy instructor, delivered the guest message, joining faculty members, students, and guests in recognizing the awardees' achievements and the value of striving for excellence.

As the recognition program concluded, the focus shifted to preparing students for the academic year ahead. The College Orientation introduced new and returning students to the college's administrators, academic unit heads, faculty members, and recognized student organizations.

Students were also acquainted with the services and responsibilities of the institution's key offices, including the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), Registrar's Office, Finance Office, Research Department, and the Dean's Office. SSC adviser, Sir Albanie M. Cabugatan, LPT, presented their programs and services for the academic year.

The orientation gave students an overview of campus services, academic procedures, and institutional policies, helping them prepare for the start of the new academic year.

"Leadership is not about the position; it's about service." That message echoed throughout the RC-AKICFI Education Department Induction Ceremony and Orientation held on July 10, 2026 at Room 305, RC-AKICFI Main, as a new generation of student leaders officially took their oath of office.

The ceremony served not only as the formal turnover of leadership but also as a reminder that serving others requires courage, humility, and commitment.

One of the strongest messages of the ceremony came from Ma'am Jamilah-Hakimah B. Umpa, LPT, MAEd, who challenged the newly inducted officers to accept the difficult side of leadership. She reminded them that leaders are not expected to please everyone and that doing what is right sometimes means making unpopular but necessary decisions.

Looking back on her term, outgoing EDSS President Ms. Sittie Aima B. Basher reflected on the challenges she faced and encouraged the incoming officers to stay united despite their differences. She reminded them that leadership is measured not by the title one holds but by the willingness to serve. Her heartfelt words, "Hindi lang kayo naging officers ko, naging pamilya ko rin," drew smiles and emotions from the audience as she officially bid farewell to her term.

The program also paid tribute to the outgoing Executive Board through a video presentation highlighting their accomplishments before the new officers formally took their oath. The ceremony continued with the inaugural address of the newly inducted EDSS President, the symbolic passing of the key, and the official turnover of leadership.

In her inaugural speech, newly inducted EDSS President Ms. Noralia N. Maniri acknowledged the responsibility that comes with leading the organization. She promised to lead with honesty, humility, and a willingness to keep learning while putting the welfare of Education students at the heart of every decision.

Closing the morning ceremony, Mr. Abdul Karim M. Muti, LPT, encouraged the new officers to lead with unity, purpose, and a genuine commitment to serving the student body.

The afternoon session focused on orientation, beginning with an interactive icebreaker that encouraged students to get to know one another. Students were later introduced to the EDSS Constitution and By-Laws, officers' duties and responsibilities, departmental policies, and other organizational guidelines that will steer the organization throughout the academic year.

As the ceremony welcomed a new set of officers and the orientation prepared students for the year ahead, the Education Department opened another chapter grounded in leadership, unity, and service

Innovative ideas took center stage as students showcased their creativity and entrepreneurial potential during the 3rd Interclass Startup Pitch Competition 2026, held on June 20, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the RC-AKICFI Library. Carrying the theme โ€œInnovating for a Smart Future,โ€ the event brought together aspiring innovators eager to present solutions designed to address real-world challenges through technology and business.

Serving as Masters of Ceremonies, Abdulmajed A. Usman and Sittie Nasiha A. Tomarompong guided the audience through the day's activities, ensuring a smooth and engaging program from start to finish.

One after another, participating teams took the stage to pitch their startup concepts before the panel of judges. The competition featured a wide range of innovative entries, including Pharmafind, PawTrace, LaundryLink, ClarityWell, Lanao Market, Digital Palengke, JAN Review Center, Court X, Smart CCTV, Al-Aman Tracker, Hydro AI, WorkLink, Sarimanok Rooms, SafeCity, RanawFind, Lingkod Bayan App, AIDEA, Watt Warden, CleanTrack, and LARGA. Each team presented unique ideas aimed at addressing community needs, improving services, and offering practical technological solutions.
