On August 20, 2026, The Department of Biology conducted a Special Election to select its 1st Year Male and Female Representatives, bringing first-year biology students to the polls to establish their class leadership. The election proceedings commenced with a Miting de Avance at the SLH, where all participating candidates presented their platforms. After their campaign speeches, the candidates participated in a panel Q&A session, addressing inquiries from SOLSS officers and responding to questions from their first-year peers. Following the Miting de Avance, voting officially opened across designated polling areas, including Room R115 and the department office.

We commend the candidates and the freshman class for their active engagement in this dedicated election. Official results will be released following the final vote tabulation.
