Alhamdulillah! for the successful Joint Seminar for EDCO 201 (Guidance and Counseling with Special Education) and EDUC 202 (Personality Theories and Mental Hygiene).
This event was made possible through the support of our esteemed School President, Sir Saadudin Totop M. Bacarat, LPT, MPA, MAEd, and his wife our Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Princess Johaira N. Titiban, RN, MANc, MAEd. Their steadfast commitment to quality education and unwavering guidance continue to inspire faculty and students alike to reach greater heights in their academic and professional journeys.
We extend our deepest gratitude to our distinguished invited Instructors members Sir Wendel T. Lontua, LPT, RGC, and Prof. Amirah R. Bagumbaran, LPT, RGC, for their contributions to this event.
We also acknowledge the dedication of our subject professors Prof. Hayanisah B. Bantuas (EDCO 201) and Dr. Faridah S. Abdullah (EDUC 202) whose mentorship has been instrumental to their students success.
The morning session, themed “Teaching with Heart and Mind: Fostering Inclusion and Mental Health,” featured insightful presentations by Prof. Hayanisah B. Bantuas, LPT, RGC, and Ms. Adawiyah M. Cabugatan, PhD Candidate. Their lectures emphasized empathy, inclusivity, and mental wellness in education, reminding educators to teach not only with knowledge but also with compassion.
The afternoon session, themed “Nurturing the Mind, Shaping the Self: Pathways to Healthy Personality and Mental Well-being,” delved into personal development and psychological health. We sincerely thank our esteemed speakers Dr. Faridah S. Abdullah, RGC, Dr. Sittie Zaynab Hadji Zuhayr Ali, RGC and Prof. Fatima P. Abbas, MAHIS for enriching participants understanding of mental health and personality growth.
Heartfelt thanks to the MAEd-GC Class Officers, led by Batch President Ms. Jalaisa M. Mamasarogan, PhD. who organized this successful event with exemplary leadership. And to all MAEd-GC students who actively participated your enthusiasm and cooperation made this seminar truly impactful.
The Joint Seminar stands as a testament to collaboration and our shared mission of fostering inclusion, mental health awareness, and holistic development in education.
