On a LED-bright morning of August 20, 2026 which was also the final day of the COE Exhibit, the Salubong Freshie was held for the COE freshmen of AY 2026โ€“2027. From the runway-style welcome to the different games our nakshies stayed full of energy and enthusiasm all throughout.

Kuya Jafar inspired the ECE freshmen with his introduction on what ECE is and its role in shaping the future of our society. He also collaborated with Ms. Hedjarah from EE to explain the relationship of ECE and EE like siblings sharing the same circuit within one department, one triple E.

Meanwhile nakshies from ECE did not hold back either. They joined in full spirit and competed alongside other teams, bringing the same signal strength and resonant energy that defines the ECE spirit. According to Norhana, a 1st year ECE representative, the Salubong Freshie made her feel less nervous about starting her college journey.

One of the main highlights of the day was the Amazing Race that tested the resourcefulness and analytical skills of these young Eagles that will surely guide them in every step of their journey as an MSUan.

๐˜๐จ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐จ ๐ƒ๐Ÿ ๐š๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง!๐Ÿ‘€

The whole ECE Fam celebrated a successful COE ExCEbit together with the 63rd Founding Anniversary of the College of Engineering MSU Main.

ExCEbit was held from August 17โ€“20 2026 with nice and clear weather. Even on the first day the ECE Booth was ready to stand tall and shine within the Pamantasang Mindanao. Though it did not start formally on Day 1, it became more Electrifying on Day 2. More visitors joined the fun games from Component Matching at the booth to the Piano Game in the lab.

The excitement kept building just like a charging capacitor as students gathered around the Merch and Photo Opportunity areas. On the last day, COE held Salubong Freshie. It was a warm welcome to the new members of Pamilyang Agila. The talented and excited ECE freshmen matched the perfect frequency. From team yells to the Amazing Race these new faces showed exactly why they say โ€œi love coe!โ€

At the end of ExCEbit the ECE booth stood tall and proud. The whole experience felt like a perfectly tuned circuit where every part connected perfectly. The ECE Fam was perfectly biased with joy because this event let them show everyone what ECE is and how it shapes the future!

It was never easy but the ECE Fam learned to stand strong and celebrate even with a small group. Led by Mama Mama Jehanna Mindaya and with the help of her Naka Naka officers, mothering seniors and cutesy freshmen volunteers, the group grew stronger and stood proudly alongside six other booths. This proves that it is not the numbers that matter. What matters is a strong united team with one common frequency!
