Through captivating performances, our dancers extended a heartfelt greeting to the AUN-QA IQA delegates participating in the Workshop on Universityโ€™s IQA Utilizing AUN-QA IQA Management Toolkit Version 1.3 for Luzon whilst showcasing country's rich traditions

Held on the morning of July 14 and the afternoon of July 15, 2026, at the MPC Academic Building, the performances reflected the warmth of Filipino hospitality, setting the tone for meaningful learning, collaboration, and cultural appreciation.

As the celebration continued, MPC-DT took the stage with Tinikling, sharing the lively rhythm and timeless charm of one of the Philippinesโ€™ most iconic folk dances during the TAU-ETHOS Program Visit.

MPC-DicTionary:
Tinikling is a traditional Filipino folk dance that originated in Leyte. It is performed by dancers skillfully stepping between moving bamboo poles, showcasing timing, coordination, and agility inspired by the movements of the tikling bird.

MPC-DicTionary:
Binasuan is a traditional Filipino folk dance that originated in Bayambang, Pangasinan. It is performed with glasses partially filled with rice wine balanced on the head and hands, highlighting the dancersโ€™ control, coordination, and remarkable dexterity.
