𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐒

Stories came alive as the OLOPSC College of Business, Management, Science, and Education (CBMSE) held “𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬: 𝐀𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐄𝐱𝐡𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐭” on September 24 at the Learning Resource Center of the New Gen Building in celebration of National Literacy Month.

Spearheaded by Education and Liberal Arts Program Chair Ms. Karen Alver Arenas in collaboration with the College Learning Resource Center, the exhibit featured interactive literary booths handled by students from the Literature classes. From legendary heroes and ancient myths to beloved tales, students and faculty explored different literary worlds through creative displays, performances, and activities.

The exhibit offered visitors an opportunity to experience literature beyond the pages, as students transformed literary works into engaging and interactive experiences, celebrating the value of stories and literacy.

𝐏𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐚𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬

OLOPSC - College of Business, Management, Science and Education continues to go the extra mile in preparing enriching, off-campus learning experiences for our students! Our Vice President for Academic Affairs, College Dean, and Program Chair for Education and Liberal Arts conducted ocular visits to two remarkable institutions:

📍 Philippine School for the Deaf, Pasay City — where we were warmly welcomed by Dr. Jordan S. Madronio, Assistant Special School Principal, Officer-in-Charge
📍 National Museum of Anthropology, Manila

These visits allowed us to personally assess each venue and ensure that our upcoming field trips will be safe, meaningful, and truly educational for our Education and Psychology students, deepening their understanding of inclusive education, culture, and the Filipino identity.

We are deeply grateful to Dr. Madronio and the National Museum of Anthropology for their warm hospitality, and we look forward to bringing our students to these spaces very soon!

Madam Carmen, as the Founder and Chairman of OLOPSC, you have given so much of yourself to build a school that has become a second home to generations of OLOPSCians. Your wisdom, strength, kindness, and dedication continue to be felt in the OLOPSC family.

While the rain pours, student leaders plan!

The first Student Leadership Meeting, led by the Coordinator for Student Activities, Mx. Paul Jason V. Pante, was held on September 10, 2026, through an online meeting with available student leaders from different recognized student organizations.

The meeting focused on several student-related concerns and upcoming activities, including the preparations for the 49th Founding Anniversary of OLOPSC. With early planning and coordination, our student leaders are already working ahead to help make the activities successful for the College student body.

Here’s to a productive year ahead! Best of luck and may our student leaders be guided as they lead and serve the College student body this academic year.
