With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of Engr. Salvador D. Ciudadano Jr., our beloved Dean of the College of Engineering. He was more than just an academic leader—he was a mentor, a guide, and a father figure who touched the lives of countless students, colleagues, and friends.

His dedication to excellence, his passion for education, and his unwavering commitment to shaping future engineers will forever be remembered. Dean Ciudadano’s legacy is not only found in the walls of our institution but in the hearts of those he inspired and believed in.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may his life’s work continue to inspire us to pursue excellence with humility, integrity, and compassion—values he lived by until the very end.

Thank you, Sir C for your leadership, wisdom, and love for the College of Engineering. You will truly be missed but never forgotten.

The General Orientation for the College of Engineering will be held on August 7, 2025 (Thursday) at 8:00 AM at the Southern Bicol Colleges Quadrangle. All incoming first-year Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students are highly encouraged to attend.

This orientation marks the official start of your journey as an SBC Engineering student—so don’t miss it!

🔔 Please take note:
- Once you enter the campus, going outside will not be allowed until the orientation ends.
- We recommend that you bring your own food, snacks, and water for convenience.
- Don’t worry—food stalls will also be available inside the campus.
- Most importantly, come prepared—mentally, physically, and emotionally—for this exciting milestone!

The Team Tigers, fusion of the BSCE and BSME students, paved their way towards another trophy.

Last October 14, the Founder's Week was held at the Southern Bicol Colleges in celebration of the 31 years since our dear institution was founded by none other than the late Mr. Manuel M. Bakunawa Jr.

Different departments competed towards the goal of enjoying and winning the title as the Overall Champion, and once again, for the 7th time around, the College of Engineering won this battle.

With determination, passion, critical thinking, and strategized play, the Team Tigers was once again announced as the OVERALL CHAMPION last October 17, 2024.
