Ang sore eyes (conjunctivitis) ay ang pamumula, pagluluha at eye discharge na maaaring may kasamang pananakit at pangangati ng mata na bunga ng iba’t ibang mga impeksyon, irritation at allergy.
Maaaring makahawa ang sore eyes kung ang dulot ng sakit ay mikrobyo kung kaya naman ipinapayo sa publiko na gawin ang sumusunod:
🔎Hugasan ang mga kamay gamit ang sabon at malinis na tubig bago at pagkatapos hipuin ang mga mata.
🔎 Labhan at palitan ang mga pillowcase araw-araw para iwas impeksyon.
🔎Huwag hawakan o kuskusin ang mga mata gamit ang mga daliri
🔎Alisin ang mga muta sa mga mata gamit ang malinis na cotton ball o paper towel
🔎 Gumamit ng eyedrop ayon sa payo ng doktor
🔎 Panatilihing malinis ang kapaligiran
🔎 Palakasin ang resistensya ng katawan sa pamamagitan ng wastong pagkain.
Kung may nararamdaman, agad na lumapit at magpakonsulta sa inyong Primary Care Provider sa lugar.

HEALTH ADVISORY ‼️‼️‼️

Dahil sa pagtaas ng mga kaso ng sakit tulad ng sipon, ubo, influenza like illness at severe respiratory infections lkatulad ng community acquired pneumonia, at alinsunod sa Executive Order No. DHT-60, mahigpit na ipinag-uutos ang pagsusuot ng FACE MASK sa lahat ng indoor settings, gayundin sa mga outdoor areas kung saan hindi nasusunod ang physical distancing.

📢 FACE MASK POLICY WITHIN THE COLLEGE 😷

In view of the LGU Mauban HRMO Memorandum dated October 16, 2025, mandating the use of face masks for all LGU employees due to the rise in Influenza-like Illness (ILI) cases), the College President has adopted the same policy within the College to support its intended objective.

Accordingly, all PKM students are required to wear face masks while inside the campus, effective immediately.

Let us continue to do our part in maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment. 💚

📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

To: All Students, Faculty and Staff

Subject: Mandatory Wearing of Face Masks and Health Advisory

In compliance with the official memorandum from the Municipality of Mauban and the Human Resource Management Office and in response to the increasing cases of influenza-like illnesses, Pambayang Kolehiyo ng Mauban including faculty, staff and students are required to wear face masks at all times while inside the campus premises.

🔹Face masks must be worn at all times, especially in indoor spaces, classrooms, offices and shared areas.
🔹Ensure your face mask properly covers both your nose and mouth.

This is a preventive health measure to ensure the safety and well-being of our campus community.

❗️For students experiencing INFLUENZA, COLD, or FLU-LIKE symptoms:
🔸You are advised NOT to attend your classes.
🔸Kindly notify PKM Health Services for consultation and monitoring.
🔸Please coordinate with your Area Chair for your class arrangements during your absence.
