𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡.

Pampanga State University proudly recognizes Associate Professor John Paul P. Miranda of the Mexico Campus for earning the 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑 award once again. The university selected him through the university-wide search for the 2024 prestigious award. This recognition makes him the first recipient of the award under the university’s new name. The university formally announced and conferred the recognition during the Annual Accomplishments Presentation and Awarding of Recognitions. The ceremony took place at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center at the Main Campus in Bacolor, Pampanga on December 19, 2025.

Pampanga State University Mexico Campus (PMC) warmly congratulates Prof. Miranda on this achievement. This award marks the third time he has received the distinction, following his recognitions in 2023 and 2021. The evaluation covered multiple criteria, including completed research outputs, proposed papers, externally funded research, journal publications, conference presentations, citations, and inventions. Prof. Miranda has produced 67 scholarly publications to date, with 41 articles indexed in Scopus, a leading database used for international university rankings. In 2024 alone, he published 14 scholarly works and holds the distinction as the top cited researcher at Pampanga State University. Each year, Dr. Miranda consistently surpasses his previous outputs in both publications and citations which demonstrates his sustained growth in research productivity and impact.

The Pampanga State University Mexico Campus (PMC) proudly announces that Mr. Christian C. Comeo is its Campus 2025 Teacher of the Year. This distinction recognizes not only his excellence in teaching but also his professionalism, dedication, and genuine care for his students and the academic community.

Mr. Comeo is also a FINALIST in the university-wide search for the prestigious 2025 TEACHER OF THE YEAR award of Pampanga State University. He was formally recognized as a finalist at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center, Main Campus, Bacolor, Pampanga, on December 19, 2025, during the Annual Accomplishments Presentation and Awarding of Recognitions.

This recognition affirms Mr. Comeo’s unwavering commitment to quality education, his passion for nurturing student growth, and his consistent efforts to go beyond the call of duty in the classroom. True to Honorian service, his achievement reflects not only professional excellence but also the positive and lasting impact he continues to make on learners, colleagues, and the wider academic community.

The Pampanga State University Mexico Campus (PMC) is the recipient of one of the University’s prestigious awards, having been recognized as the 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒. The award was presented during the University-wide Annual Accomplishment Presentation and Awarding of Recognitions on December 19, 2025, at the Dr. Ernesto T. Nicdao Sports Center, Main Campus, Bacolor, Pampanga.

The award was received by our Campus Director, Dr. Vicky P. Vital, and Research Management Unit Coordinator, Mr. Lance Joshua Castro, along with PMC faculty members.

PMC also acknowledges the valuable contributions of Ms. Elizabeth Gaña, who served as Research Management Unit Coordinator for 2024, for her significant role in strengthening the campus’s research initiatives.

Today, Pampanga State University proudly celebrates with the Kapampangans for the 454th Pampanga Day, also known as "Aldo Ning Kapampangan," in honor of the province’s founding on December 11, 1571. This commemoration honors the rich history, enduring traditions, and vibrant culture that continue to shape the Kapampangan identity.
