𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙚𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙨! 🎉
IN PHOTOS: The University of the Philippines Visayas officially marked the opening of the 79th Anniversary of the UP Presence in Iloilo celebration this September through a short program held earlier this morning, Sep. 1.
The theme for this year’s celebration, spearheaded by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, is “1940s Foundation, 1979 Fulfillment, Lifelong Service.”
The main highlight of the Opening Program was the ribbon-cutting and unveiling of the Anniversary Exhibit. A teaser video for Pasundayag 2026 featuring the five competing groups was also shown.

UPHSI Library Orientation 2026

Last August 05, 2026 (Junior High) and August 11, 2026 (Senior High) the University of the Philippines High School in Iloilo held its Library Orientation, welcoming students to an informative and engaging session that introduced them to the library’s facilities, services, collections, and learning resources.

Through active participation and meaningful interaction, students gained valuable insights into how the library can support their academic activities, research needs, and lifelong learning.

As students begin another chapter in their academic journey, may the library become a trusted space for knowledge, discovery, and growth.
