The journey for this academic year officially begins as the Social Studies Organization gathered for its ๐Ÿ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐†๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฆ๐›๐ฅ๐ฒ. It was a day filled with reflection, recognition, and new beginnings as we came together once again as one SocStud family. โœจ

Looking back on the previous academic year, the organization revisited its accomplishments and milestones, celebrating the dedication, hard work, and collective efforts that shaped our successes. These achievements serve as a reminder that every contribution, no matter how small, plays a vital role in strengthening our organization.

The assembly also became a moment of welcome as we opened our doors to the newest members of the SocStud family. To our freshmen, may this organization become a place where you discover your potential, build meaningful connections, and grow alongside fellow future educators.

Today, we look back and honor the man who proved that the mightiest weapon isn't always forged in fire, but sometimes written in ink. ๐Ÿ–‹๏ธ๐Ÿ“–

On June 19, 1861, a boy named Josรฉ Protacio Rizal Mercado y Alonso Realonda was born in Calamba, Laguna. Little did the world know that this boy would grow up to ignite a revolution without ever picking up a sword. Through his words, his sharp mind, and his unwavering love for the motherland, he woke up a nation and lit the path toward freedom.

But beyond being our national hero, Rizal was a true Renaissance manโ€”a doctor, novelist, poet, artist, and even a martial artist! He showed us that the best way to serve our country is to continuously learn, build our character, and stand up for what is right.

Today, let's ask ourselves: How can we live out Rizal's legacy in our own simple ways?

Whether it's by fighting misinformation, supporting local communities, or simply being a citizen who cares, we all have a "Rizal" inside of us.
