𝗖𝗧𝗨–𝗠𝗼𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗘 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗜𝗜𝗘 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐂𝐎𝐄) 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐞𝐛𝐮 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲–𝐌𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬 made a historic mark during the PIIE Days 2026 held on March 7! 🎓

Following the theme “𝘔𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘦𝘵: 𝘌𝘹𝘤𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘋𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯,” our students showcased their versatility across sports, academics, and pageantry. Representing CTU–Moalboal alongside with other universities, our delegates proved that IE excellence truly knows no bounds.

‎𝘔𝘳. 𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘰 𝘕𝘪𝘦𝘭 𝘓𝘢𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘰𝘳 and 𝘔𝘴. 𝘑𝘦𝘩𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘚𝘦ñ𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘯 proudly represented team Maroon Mechamatadors. Cleo won the 𝙈𝙧. 𝘾𝙏𝙐 𝙈𝙤𝙖𝙡𝙗𝙤𝙖𝙡 2026 title, along with the 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙖 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 and 𝘽𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙎𝙬𝙞𝙢𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙧. Ms. Señagan also delivered a great performance with Mr. Labrador as they both secured the Best in Talent title.

‎The 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘣𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘛𝘦𝘢𝘮 showed the true meaning of grit and teamwork at the PIIE Days 2026. Taking home the 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐫-𝐔𝐩 trophy after a series of intense games at Don Bosco Technical College Cebu is a massive feat, especially when facing off against 8 other competitive schools.

‎Every dribble, pass, and basket was a testament to the hours of practice and the solid connection this team has built. You represented the College of Engineering with class and talent, proving that our students excel both in the classroom and on the court.

CTU–Moalboal IE students garner Championship, First runner–up titles in PIIE Days 2026

Engineering students from the College of Engineering (COE) of Cebu Technological University (CTU)–Moalboal Campus were declared champion in Mixed Volleyball, first runner-up in Ms. PIIE Days 2026 and Basketball at the Philippine Institute of Industrial Engineers (PIIE) Days, showcasing their skills and talents alongside other IE representatives from various activities on March 7, 2026.

With the theme, “Multiverse Meet: Excellence in Every Dimension,” IE students successfully participated in the event alongside 17 universities.

Some of the activities, such as certain sports and academic events, took place online or involved online submissions to accommodate participants from different locations.

On the other hand, sports activities consisting chess, volleyball, and basketball were held at Don Bosco Technical College Cebu, while the Quizbowl and pageant competitions took place at University of San Carlos–Talamban Campus as part of the event’s scheduled venues.

Erika Althea Villahermosa and Julius Generalao bagged 3rd place in the chess competition.

In the Quiz Bowl competition, Russel Archie Montecina, Joycemer Angana, GM P. Divinagracia, and Glaiza Sabido took 4th place in the IE Quiz Bowl while Crislo Navares, Eliza Lyn Baybayanon, Marilou Velos, and Miea Crazel Gabutero grabbed 6th place in the same competition.

In pageant competition, Vivian G. Incipido won first runner–up, while Mark John B. Tubalado clinched Best in Atture in the Mr & Ms. PIIE 2026, exuding their confidence and charm.

The PIIE Days offered an opportunity for engineering students from different universities to showcase their skills, collaborate with peers, and celebrate excellence across various disciplines, an opportunity seized by CTU Moalboal's IE students.
