On the Admission Capacity of CTU - Moalboal
Cebu Technological University – Moalboal Campus recognizes the aspirations of every student who wishes to pursue quality and affordable higher education. We understand the concerns raised regarding the availability of admission to enroll in their preferred programs.
The Campus wishes to clarify that the implementation of admission limits is intended to ensure that the University can provide a quality, safe, and sustainable learning environment to every student.
The determination of enrollment capacity is primarily guided by its available financial and human resources. As a State University, CTU operates within government-approved budgetary allocations and must responsibly manage its resources to sustain instructional services, personnel compensation, school facilities, and other essential academic operations.
Closely related to this is the Campus’ carrying capacity, particularly the adequacy of physical facilities such as classrooms and laboratories, instructional equipment, and other essential learning resources. Maintaining an appropriate student-to-facility ratio is necessary to ensure that students receive proper instruction, access to learning spaces, and an educational environment conducive to learning.
Our admission policies also subject enrollment to established screening and qualification processes implemented across all CTU campuses.
CTU–Moalboal Campus remains committed to making higher education as accessible as possible while ensuring that such access is matched by the resources necessary to provide quality instruction and student services.
The Campus assures the public that enrollment policies are implemented with fairness, transparency, and consideration of the University's capacity to serve its students effectively.
We respectfully appeal for the public's understanding that while CTU – Moalboal strives to accommodate as many qualified students as possible, the University also has the responsibility to ensure that every student admitted receives the quality education that a public higher education institution is mandated to provide.
