Among the most promising competitors from various institutions of Zamboanga del Sur are BCFI's three impressive contestants—Lady Mae Q. Navarro from the College of Nursing emerged as the Provincial Champion, followed by her fellow BCFI contestants Angela A. Fortich from the College of Computer Science, who secured First Runner Up, and Angel P. Ilarde from the College of Nursing, who finished Second Runner Up.

The Philippine Statistics Quiz is an annual nationwide competition organized to assess and develop the statistical knowledge and skills of first-year college students. It also aims to promote greater appreciation of statistics and its importance in research, decision-making, and national development.
Behind the BCFI delegation’s strong showing was Coach Juneil Jalambo, whose guidance, training, and support helped prepare the contestants for the competition. The achievement reflects not only the students’ dedication but also the commitment of their coach and the institution in nurturing academic excellence.
With this three-way sweep, BCFI once again demonstrated its competitive strength and continued victory in statistics and brought pride to the institution.
The Philippine Statistics Quiz will proceed to the Regional Championships, where the three will compete for a chance to advance to the National Finals.
