MONCAST ATTENDS DOST RTEC ORIENTATION SECCI/SETTI AND RISK ANALYSIS TRAINING
Monkayo College of Arts, Sciences, and Technology (MonCAST) made significant strides in enhancing its research and community extension initiatives by participating in the Department of Science and Technologyโs (DOST) RTEC Orientation SECCI/SETTI and Risk Analysis Training Program.
The seminar, held yesterday on February 28, 2024, in Nabunturan, Davao de Oro, provided a comprehensive platform for participants to gain insights into risk assessment methodologies pertaining to community extension projects under the DOST program.
One of the focal points of the seminar was the integration of risk analysis techniques into community-focused initiatives, aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2028.
Engr. Rubilyn G. Barrios, LPT, MAED-Math, Vice President for Research, Development, and Extension, alongside Maโam Angelli B. Herrera, MM, Director for Community Extension represented MonCAST in the event.
The seminar served as a strategic avenue for MonCAST to enhance its research capabilities and refine its approach towards community development projects. By integrating risk assessment practices into its initiatives, MonCAST aims to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of its outreach programs, ultimately contributing to the attainment of national development goals.
