𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | CLSU-CEn Alumni solidifies MPLE performance, achieves 78.95% institutional rate

Golden Grains from Central Luzon State University - College of Engineering (CLSU-CEN) continued to show an exemplary performance at the Master Plumber Licensure Examination (MPLE), held February 19-20, 2026, with an impressive 78.95% overall performance rate.

A total of 9 first takers, 8 passed, and 1 failed, attained 88.89% performance rate; 7 repeaters passed, and 3 failed, a total of 10 repeaters achieved 70% performance rate, with a total of 15 new Master Plumbers passed this month's MPLE, attaining 78.95% institutional passing rate, outperforming the nationwide's 61.76% performance rate.

According to the records from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), CLSU cemented the outstanding reputation from past MPLEs; attaining 51.61% on Feb. 2023, 47.62% on July 2023, 58.52% on Feb. 2024, 35.09 on July 2024, 52.78% on Feb. 2025, and 59.9% on July 2025.

The MPLE took place at testing centers on Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan De Oro, Calapan, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, and Tuguegarao, with the supervision of the Board for Master Plumbers through its head, Hon. Jaime Jajay E. Cruz, and his members, Hon. Jason Magos and Hon. Samuel Paete.
