The Council of Deans (COD) held its final meeting for 2025 on December 10 via Zoom, gathering college deans, academic unit heads, and representatives from the Faculty Association, Inc. (FAI), the Federation of Graduate Students Association (FGSA), and the University Supreme Student Council (USSC).
The session centered on operational updates and preparations for the Second Semester, including enrollment concerns, technical and workflow issues related to the Comprehensive Academic Information System (CAIS), and the implementation of Actual Teaching Load (ATL) for team-teaching arrangements.
In closing the year’s series of consultations, the body also reviewed the proposed academic calendar, discussed faculty alignment, and addressed matters concerning on-the-job training (OJT).
These exchanges provided the administration with practical insights to guide adjustments and improvements moving into 2026.
The final COD meeting of the year reinforced CLSU’s commitment to coordinated academic management, responsive planning, and continuous enhancement of services across the university.
