The College of Education โ€“ Department of Technology, Livelihood, and Life Skills Education (DTLLSED) proudly recognizes the academic achievements of its Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education students during its Honorsโ€™ Day held on March 25, 2026.

The College of Education successfully held the first batch of its Honors Day on March 24, 2026, at the CED Teachers Hall, celebrating the achievements of its students. This milestone event highlighted the dedication, perseverance, and academic excellence of future educators.

The first batch featured the Department of Education Policy and Practice, home to the Bachelor of Secondary Education majors in Values Education and Social Studies. The program was organized into two sessions. The morning session honored BSEd Values Education students for their commitment to values formation and holistic development, while the afternoon session recognized BSEd Social Studies students for their excellence in promoting social awareness and civic responsibility.

More than a celebration of academic success, this momentous Honors Day reaffirmed the College of Educationโ€™s mission to develop competent, value-driven, and globally responsive educators, setting a strong foundation for future recognitions of excellence.

The 2nd Wave of the Guidance Caravan of the College of Education is held in celebration of Guidance Awareness Month and Womenโ€™s Month, initiated by the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education students.

Anchored on the theme โ€œWE (Women and Everyone) for Mental Health, Gender Equality, and an Inclusive Society,โ€ the activity aims to raise awareness on the importance of mental well-being, promote gender sensitivity, and foster a more inclusive academic community.

Taking place at the CED New Education Building Grounds, the caravan serves as a platform for meaningful engagement, empowerment, and collective action bringing together students, educators, and stakeholders in advocating for a supportive and equitable environment for all.

Central Luzon State University-College of Education (CLSU-CED) is one of the offices and academic programs subjected for the ISO 9001:2015 Reclassification Audit, today, March 23 at CED Accreditation Room.

Together with University Professor Dr. Florante P. Ibarra, CED Dean, CED faculty members, specifically the Department of Science Education (DSED) and the program Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Science, headed by Professor Dr. Edwin D. Ibaรฑez, DSED Chair, engage in a rigorous review and validation of documents facilitated by external auditors.

The ongoing two-day ISO audit ensures that all processes, records, and quality management systems meet the required standards for reclassification and continuous institutional improvement.

The CED is one with CLSU in its strong commitment to quality assurance and service, transparency, and excellence in education.

Central Luzon State University-College of Education (CLSU-CED) welcomed Associate Professor Glenn Magee of Aichi Prefectural University, Japan and researcher from Anaheim University, USA, March 11 at CED Accreditation Room, for an initial meeting aimed at strengthening academic collaborations of CLSU, Aichi Prefectural University, and Anaheim University.

The visit provided an opportunity to explore potential partnerships in research, academic exchange, and innovative teaching initiatives facilitated by Asst. Prof. Joseph A. Villarama, CED-International Affairs Office Coordinator and CED Secretary together with Dr. Ma. Catalina D. Cadiz, Chair of CLSU Laboratory for Teaching and Learning (CLTL), representing Dr. Florante P. Ibarra, CED Dean. In attendance are Dr. Lexter R. Natividad, Unit-in-Charge of CLTL-University Science High School (CLTL-USHS), Assoc. Prof. Cynthia Lyn P. Curada, CLTL-USHS Secretary, and Asst. Prof. Joseph P. Adsuara and Assoc. Prof. Jordan F. Gundran, CLTL-USHS Registrars.

During the visit, Professor Magee and his wife Dr. Mel Nikki Perez Joson Magee also personally awarded tokens and certificates to selected CLTL-USHS Senior High School students who successfully completed a 10-week online learning session on the development and evaluation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)-supported writing for English language learners, which he facilitated. The program introduced students to emerging concepts and applications of AI, highlighting the growing role of technology in education.

CLSU-CED expressed appreciation for the initiative, noting that the engagement reflects the Universityโ€™s commitment to quality education, internationalization, and technology-enhanced learning while opening avenues for future collaborative programs with global academic partners.
