Today, August 21, we commemorate Ninoy Aquino Day in honor of former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" Aquino Jr.

His sacrifice in 1983 became a defining turning point in modern Philippine history—rekindling our courage, uniting the nation in the fight for democracy, and inspiring the historic 1986 People Power Revolution.

As we observe this day, we encourage our entire community to reflect on the core values of patriotism, integrity, and unity. May his legacy remind us of the power of standing together for what is right.

Refusal to undergo inspection shall result in denial of entry.

All persons and vehicles are subject to inspection.

At STI College Alabang, the Guidance Office is always here to listen, support, and help you navigate concerns that may be affecting your well-being, studies, relationships, or everyday life.

Sometimes, a simple “Kamusta ka?” can make a difference. If you or someone you know is going through a difficult time, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Seeking help is not a sign of weakness—it is a step toward taking care of yourself.

NO SCHOOL | AUGUST 20, 2026

We will again follow the new memo from Malacañang. Face-to-face classes for all levels, public and private schools, in NCR (including Muntinlupa) will still be suspended tomorrow, Thursday, August 20, 2026.

Appropriate alternative work arrangements will be implemented once again in government offices. The offices that have vital functions in providing health, disaster response, and other basic services will still operate. We have a separate post for the list of offices included here.

The effects of the storm will still be felt based on the local rain forecast of Muntinlupa DDRM. Muntinlupa is still part of the Metro Manila cities under the YELLOW HEAVY RAINFALL WARNING.

As much as we want students to return to school, their safety must be prioritized. Alternative modes of learning in schools will be implemented for the time being.

ANNOUNCEMENT FROM MALACAÑANG

Malacañang has issued a new advisory regarding work and learning arrangements tomorrow, August 18.

Appropriate alternative work arrangements will be implemented in government offices, while face-to-face classes at all levels in public and private schools in NCR (including Muntinlupa) are suspended.

Frontline offices, including the Kalingang Munti Action Center (KMAC), Local Civil Registry Office, City Treasurer's Office, and Social Services Department, will continue to operate.

The offices in charge of health, disaster response, and other basic and vital services such as the City Engineering Department, and DDRM, will also continue to operate.

We will continue to monitor official advisories from Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management. Everyone please be cautious!

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 128, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 18, 2026:

📍 National Capital Region (NCR)
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Zambales
📍 Bataan
📍 Tarlac
📍 Pampanga
📍 Bulacan
📍 Cavite
📍 Batangas
📍 Rizal
📍 Laguna
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Announcement: FACE TO FACE CLASSES ARE SUSPENDED

Based on the local weather monitoring System of Muntinlupa DRRM Office released today at 4:10AM, it is predicted that there is a 100% chance of rain reaching 5.76mm at this early morning.

Batay dito sa report, face to face classes in all levels, public and private, including ALS and Early Childhood Education, are hereby suspended on Monday, August 17, 2026.

Schools may shift to Alternative Delivery Mode.
