San Beda College Alabang is strengthening its campus safety and emergency preparedness measures while continuing to expand support for student mental health and well-being.

In a General Memorandum dated August 21, 2026, Rector Rev. Fr. Gerardo Ma. De Villa, OSB outlined the schoolโ€™s current and planned initiatives in response to community concerns about campus safety.

The measures include ๐ž๐ง๐ก๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž๐ ๐œ๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐š๐œ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ, ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ, ๐œ๐ฒ๐›๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐ฆ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฉ๐š๐ง๐๐ž๐ ๐œ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ฅ ๐ก๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ.

The school will also work more closely with the
๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐š ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐†๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ, ๐๐๐, ๐ฅ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐‘๐‘๐Œ๐Ž, and other relevant government agencies and private partners to strengthen coordination in emergency planning and response.

The memorandum emphasizes that keeping the campus safe requires the cooperation of the entire Bedan community. Students, parents, faculty, employees, administrators, government agencies, and other partners all have a role in maintaining a safe environment for learning.

SBCA will continue to provide updates on the implementation of these initiatives and other measures to strengthen campus safety and student support.

This applies to ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ under both TGE and Basic Education, unless otherwise directed.

All classes shall be suspended for the period covered by the government declaration.

This policy applies during weather-related situations such as Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), heavy rainfall warning, flooding, and other weather disturbances that may result in the suspension of face-to-face classes.

Students, parents, faculty, and personnel are advised to regularly monitor the official communication channels of San Beda College Alabang, as well as official announcements from the ๐Œ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐š ๐‚๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‹๐†๐” ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Œ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐œ๐š๐งฬƒ๐š๐ง๐ , and to follow the applicable directive ๐š๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐จ๐จ๐ง ๐š๐ฌ ๐ข๐ญ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ž๐.

This policy is intended to ensure continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety and well-being of the entire San Beda College Alabang community.
