The 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙅𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚, led by 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝘿𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙯𝙢𝙖𝙣 and the 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 from each section, conducted the 𝐋𝐈𝐆𝐓𝐀𝐒 𝐁𝐔𝐇𝐀𝐘: Fire Safety and Emergency Medical Response Seminar and Drill for all the 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa Covered Court last 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 19, 2026 (𝙎𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙙𝙖𝙮).

The program was divided into two sessions. The first session began with an informative seminar on fire safety, emergency preparedness, and proper response during emergencies. The seminar was led by 𝙁𝙊1 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡 𝙎𝙤𝙣𝙣𝙮 𝘿. 𝘽𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙤, 𝙍𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙢 𝙁𝙊1 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞 𝙂. 𝘾𝙧𝙪𝙯𝙖𝙩 and 𝙈𝙧. 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙣 together with the assistance of the 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙚 𝙑𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙍𝙤𝙙𝙤𝙡𝙛𝙤 𝙁. 𝙃𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖, 𝙅𝙤𝙝𝙣 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙤 𝘽. 𝙂𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙞𝙖, 𝙍𝙮𝙯𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙚 𝙀. 𝙑𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙧, and 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙝 𝙈𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙬 𝙄𝙣𝙤𝙟𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨.

The first session focused on essential fire safety awareness, emergency preparedness, and proper response during emergencies, including basic knowledge and skills in providing first aid and emergency medical assistance.
The second session featured the hands-on fire drill and simulation, led by 𝙁𝙊2 𝘼𝙣𝙙𝙮 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙝𝙪𝙖 𝙍. 𝙊𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜, with the assistance of the other fire officers and fire volunteers. During this session, participants were given the opportunity to learn and practice the proper use of two types of fire extinguishers and experience the operation of a fire hose from a fire truck.

Through this seminar and drill, students gained valuable knowledge and practical skills that can help them respond calmly, safely, and effectively during emergencies.

The 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 (CCJSC) successfully conducted the 𝗖𝗖𝗝 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟏𝟔, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, at the 𝗣𝗟𝗠𝘂𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁.

The orientation served as an avenue for students to gain a deeper understanding of the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 and 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, while also introducing the faculty members and College of Criminal Justice Student Council and the recognition of the Bachelor or Science in Industrial Security Management Society Officers to the student body as the minor org of the CCJ Department.

Among the central discussions was the overview of the Criminal Justice program, presented by 𝘿𝙧. 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝙂. 𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙣, Program Chair Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management , and 𝘿𝙧. 𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙮 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙈. 𝘿𝙚 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙨, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Their messages emphasized the importance of purpose, discipline, integrity, and excellence in pursuing a career within the field of criminal justice.

Students were likewise oriented on the College Guidelines and Policies through discussions led by Dr. Esteban and Dr. De Ramos, with Dr. De Ramos also presenting the policies on behalf of 𝘿𝙧. 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝘿. 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙅𝙧., Associate Professor of the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞. These discussions provided students with a clearer understanding of the standards and responsibilities expected within the college.

The orientation served as an avenue for students to gain a deeper understanding of the 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 and 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, while also introducing the faculty members and College of Criminal Justice Student Council and the recognition of the Bachelor or Science in Industrial Security Management Society Officers to the student body as the minor org of the CCJ Department.

Among the central discussions was the overview of the Criminal Justice program, presented by 𝘿𝙧. 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘽𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝙂. 𝙀𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙗𝙖𝙣, Program Chair Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management , and 𝘿𝙧. 𝘿𝙖𝙞𝙨𝙮 𝙑𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚 𝙈. 𝘿𝙚 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙤𝙨, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Criminology. Their messages emphasized the importance of purpose, discipline, integrity, and excellence in pursuing a career within the field of criminal justice.

Students were likewise oriented on the College Guidelines and Policies through discussions led by Dr. Esteban and Dr. De Ramos, with Dr. De Ramos also presenting the policies on behalf of 𝘿𝙧. 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝘿. 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙅𝙧., Associate Professor of the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞. These discussions provided students with a clearer understanding of the standards and responsibilities expected within the college.

Faculty members and advisers who took part in the orientation included 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝙈𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝙅𝙤𝙡𝙞𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝙍𝙚𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙡𝙤, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝘼𝙣𝙣 𝘿𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙯𝙢𝙖𝙣, 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛. 𝙄𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙎. 𝘽𝙤𝙗𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨, and 𝘿𝙧. 𝘼𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙤 𝘿. 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙅𝙧., whose presence and participation contributed to the successful conduct of the activity.

The CCJSC extends its sincere appreciation to the College of Criminal Justice faculty, student leaders, and students for their active participation and support in making the orientation a meaningful and successful undertaking.

The 𝗣𝗟𝗠𝘂𝗻–𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 proudly participated in the 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗾𝘂𝗶𝘂𝗺 held on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the 𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗖𝗢𝗠 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗺. The gathering brought together Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in an academic exchange focused on research and crime prevention.

Representing PLMun were our dedicated faculty members — 𝐃𝐫. 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐨 𝐃. 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐉𝐫., 𝐃𝐫. 𝐃𝐚𝐢𝐬𝐲 V𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞 𝐃𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬, 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚 𝐆. 𝐄𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐧, and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞, whose presence reflected the College’s commitment to academic collaboration and the advancement of criminological research.

Adding to this milestone, one of PLMun-CCJ’s research studies, entitled“𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝘁𝘀 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗔𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗹𝘂𝗽𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆” was selected for presentation. The study was presented by CCJ alumnus 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐚, highlighting the College’s dedication to producing research that responds to pressing issues within the community.

The presentation was reviewed by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐨 𝐔𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐨 of the 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗹 (𝗖𝗜𝗖𝗖), who served as the panel reactor. The research was commended for its timeliness and relevance, particularly in addressing the growing concern surrounding online gambling among young adults.

This milestone reflects the strength of 𝗣𝗟𝗠𝘂𝗻–𝗖𝗖𝗝 — from the dedication of its faculty and researchers to the achievements of its alumni. Through meaningful research, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing, the College continues to contribute to discussions that connect local realities with broader crime prevention efforts.
