The Election Commission formally announces the extension of the voting period for the Student Leadership Elections.

After careful deliberation and upon consideration of the following circumstances:
a) The significant increase in the student population compared to the previous academic years;
b) Online students residing in different locations and time zones not fully aligned with Philippine Standard Time (PST);
c) The holidays observed during this week, which may have affected students’ availability and participation; and
d) The approaching pre-final and final examinations, which may likewise affect students’ schedules and accessibility.

Therefore, the Election Commission has deemed it necessary to extend the voting period in order to uphold a more accessible, inclusive, and participative electoral process for all qualified voters.

As members of the student body, your participation in this electoral process plays a vital role in strengthening student representation, accountability, and democratic engagement within the institution.

The temporary lifting of the campaign ban shall remain in effect throughout the extended voting period unless otherwise announced by the Election Commission.

The Election Commission likewise reserves the right to further extend the voting period should circumstances arise that may affect the accessibility, inclusivity, integrity, or orderly conduct of the elections.

Further announcements and official updates regarding the elections shall continue to be posted through the official platforms of the Election Commission.

The future of student leadership is in your hands.
