CONCERNING THE TRANSITION OF IPPG TO
CAS DEPARTMENT
The IPPG Student Government formally informs the academic community of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa a significant academic and administrative transition within the University. In accordance with the administration's decision, the academic programs previously under the Institute of Public Policy and Governance (IPPG) are now officially transferred to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). As part of this institutional reorganization, certain departments, including the Institute of Public Policy and Governance (IPPG) and the Institute of Integrated Development Education (IIDE), will be dissolved.
As a result, the College of Arts and Sciences now holds complete academic and administrative authority over the Political Science and Public Administration programs. From now on, all official transactions, requests, and concerns concerning these programs should be directed to the relevant offices within CAS. The College of Arts and Sciences is currently led by Dean Dr. Erickson Amion. The Political Science program is overseen by Program Chair Dr. Roden Samson, while the Public Administration program is managed by Program Chair Ana Marie G. Pascua, MPA, LPT who will have direct oversight of their respective programs.
Despite this transition, the Student Government remains fully operational and committed to safeguarding student welfare. Students who require assistance, clarification, or representation during this period may continue to coordinate with the Student Government, which will remain an active liason between the student body and the University Administration.
