IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: ICC has ADJUSTED the opening of classes for the 1ST Semester of School Year 2021-2022 from AUGUST 23, 2021 to SEPTEMBER 13, 2021 (Monday) to SYNCHRONIZE it with the Nationwide DEPED Opening of Classes. A New School Year 2021-2022 Calendar of Activities will be posted.
This new adjustment is favorable to many students (new and incoming 2nd year) since it would provide them with more time to save for their First Semester tuition. Students who have enrolled early should contact their respective branch coordinators so they can start and complete their Pre Semester Distance Learning Training (PSDLT). New students who do not have any computer at home can contact their respective branch coordinators; enrolled students can practice their keyboard skills in the branch (following social distancing protocols) while waiting for the opening of classes. New students who have their own computers at home and would like to practice their keyboard skills can likewise contact their respective branch coordinators, so they can be given free computer software for keyboard skill practice.

Learning to Live with the Virus. As Cavite & NCR went back to Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) last week, a lot of people felt discouraged again in our country's fight against Covid19, but, here at ICC we have learned to adjust no matter what the Covid19 conditions maybe. Some Administrators and operations staff began using their bicycles again as forms of transportation; 1st Semester Enrollment (both online and physical) did not stop, Students who enrolled last week continued with their Pre Semester Distance Learning Training (PSDLT) and the Faculty members are now in the process of finalizing their video online presentations in preparation for our August 31, 2020 opening of classes.

At ICC, we have taken the MINDSET of Learning to Live with the Virus. We agree with what National Economic & Development Authority (NEDA) Secretary Karl Kendrick Chua said in his briefing last August 6, 2020. He said "Our initial response to the pandemic assumes a six month infection period similar to SARS in 2003.... Today, we know more about the virus, how it spreads, and how to avoid it. We now know that the virus is not going away easily and we have to live with it for a longer period of time.... Our response also calls for re-balancing our priorities from saving lives from just Covid 19 to saving lives from both Covid19 and other factors, such as hunger.... As Department of Finance Secretary Sonny Dominguez said "The whole world is learning how to dance with this virus, two steps forward and one step backward."

With the current situation, students planning to attend ICC classes this semester will have NO NEED TO GO to Cavite & Las Pinas to enroll & start attending the classes when the 1st semester starts. They can enroll online & start attending classes wherever they are thru ICC's Distance Education platform... Students from other locations can likewise do a FULL ONLINE COURSE (no need to go to the ICC Classes) even if the covid19 situation is resolved.

ICC Online Education now Accepting Students from Anywhere in the Philippines. ICC has started to receive inquiries from students, in Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, other Calabarzon provinces, Bicol, Visayas and Mindanao, if they can enroll and take ICC classes thru Distance Education until the Covid 19 situation is not fully resolved.

In the past, hundreds of students from Bicol, Visayas and Mindanao enroll in ICC before the semester starts & live with their relatives or friends in Cavite or Las Pinas. With the current situation, students planning to attend ICC classes this semester will have NO NEED TO GO at once to Cavite & Las Pinas to enroll & start attending the classes when the 1st semester starts. They can enroll online & start attending classes wherever they are thru ICC's Distance Education platform.

Students from other locations can likewise do a FULL ONLINE COURSE (no need to go to the ICC Classes) even if the covid19 situation is resolved.

ICC has created a Distance Education Platform that would provide distance learning from the most basic (students without any computer or mobile phone) to the most advanced (students with their own laptops, smartphones & fiber internet connections) and anything in between.

ICC is likewise introducing the Pre Semester Distance Learning Training (PSDLT). The PSDLT, patterned from the University of St Andrews (UK) TGAP module, is an online training module in distance learning, refresher course in reading & refresher course in writing skills, that helps incoming students to understand ICC’s distance education system. It is compulsory for all students and must be taken before he/she could start his/her subjects for the semester. A free Certificate of Completion will likewise be given to all students.
