Today marks the first day of the KAABAG Associates Applicants Interview, as aspiring Student Peer Facilitators gathered to share their experiences, perspectives, and commitment to supporting their fellow students.

The interview serves as an opportunity to recognize students who demonstrate the willingness to listen with empathy, communicate with understanding, and extend support when it matters most.

With 4 GOLD, 22 SILVER, and 18 BRONZE medals, the Kingfishers powered their way to a 6TH RUNNER UP OVERALL FINISH—a testament to every hard-fought game, every comeback, every sacrifice, and every moment they gave their all for MSUN.

This is more than a ranking.
This is grit, heart, pride and Kingfisher spirit.

To our athletes, coaches, and everyone who cheered from the sidelines—this one is for all of us.

We are now moving on to PHASE 1 of the recruitment process: the Screening Phase.

Mindanao State University at Naawan (MSUN)-Supreme Student Council (SSC) under the Office of the Student Development brought students together for the Students’ General Assembly on August 20, 2026, at the Training and Student Activity Center (TSAC), highlighting camaraderie, school spirit, and a shared sense of belonging among the university’s student community.

The second day of the seminar-workshop featured an insightful discussion by Assoc. Prof. Juvy Arjona on the Overview of RA 11036 – Mental Health Act of 2018. Participants actively engaged in the session and developed and shared their own frameworks for creating a mentally healthy school environment.

The morning session continued with Dr. Eileen J. Villaruz, who discussed “Overcoming the Downsides and Challenges in a Digital Learning Environment for an Inclusive Classroom.” The session presented the challenges in digital inclusion and well-being as well as strategies in overcoming challenges and downsides.

The afternoon session is set to feature the final set of topics, bringing together key insights and discussions that will further enrich the participants’ learning and strengthen their commitment to creating more inclusive, supportive, and mentally healthy learning environments.
