The CSPC Broadcast Center successfully conducted a 5-day Training-Workshop on Producing Basic TV-Based Learning Materials held at the CSPC Auditorium from June 16 to 20, 2025. The event was attended by participants from General Education Courses (GEC), Research, Innovation and Collaboration (RIC), and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

The training was spearheaded by Dr. Noel R. Volante, Head of the CSPC Broadcast Center, and Ms. Chariza Marie P. Olivares, CSPC Broadcast Supervisor, who both served as trainers and evaluators during the workshop. They were ably assisted by Broadcast Engineer Omar Legaspi, technicians and student- interns from CSPC BS ECE program.

Throughout the five-day program, participants were immersed in essential topics such as educational broadcasting, the TV production process, visual storytelling, and basic camera angling and lighting techniques. The workshop aimed to equip educators with the skills needed to transform classroom content into engaging and accessible television-based learning materials.

The training culminated in the presentation of participants’ final outputs—TV-based educational materials—and the awarding of certificates of completion.

The CSPC Broadcast Center successfully held a 2-day Tele-Radyo Program Assessment and Evaluation on June 3–4, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the CSPC Auditorium. Attended by participants from various college departments and offices the Center for Human Rights Education (CHRE), Graduate School, College of Health and Sciences (CHS), Student Testing and Admissions (STA), Guidance Center, College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Computer Science (CCS), College of Hospitality, Tourism and Business Management (CHTBM), College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA), CSPC Buhi Campus, and the College of Technological and Development Education (CTDE), the activity brought together program producers and evaluators in preparation for a stronger broadcast season.

This assessment was conducted to evaluate the current unit-produced radio programs airing on CSPC Radio 94.3, ahead of its much-anticipated Season 2 this August 2025. It aimed to identify strengths, address areas for improvement, and align content more closely with the needs and interests of our listeners.

As we gear up for the next season, we remain committed to producing meaningful, relevant, and engaging campus radio programs for the CSPC community and beyond.
