Saclag on the successful publication of their research studies, โ€œChallenges of Students in the Era of Academic Disruption: The Case of a College in the Philippinesโ€ and โ€œFitness and Recreational Activities of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges Employees in the Philippines,โ€ respectively, in the International Journal of Educational Sciences (IJES), a Web of Science-indexed journal.

Engr. Montaรฑezโ€™s study examined the challenges encountered by college students during the transition to flexible and online learning, highlighting issues related to technology access, workload, instructional delivery, and student motivation. Dr. Marlon S. Pontillas, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) of Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges (CSPC), recently published a research paper titled โ€œAwareness and Engagement of Arts and Sciences Students in Campus Publication: A Case of a Philippine State Collegeโ€ in the Lux Veritatis Journal of the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi. The study was co-authored with Karla Mae N. Sirios, MBA, and Marc Paul C. Sallao, LPT, both faculty members of the College of Arts and Sciences.

The research examined the levels of awareness and engagement of students toward TheSPARK, the official campus publication of CSPC, using a convergent parallel mixed-methods design.

The findings revealed significant differences in studentsโ€™ perception, awareness, participation, and engagement across academic programs, highlighting the important role of institutional support and curriculum integration in strengthening campus journalism involvement among students.

The publication contributes to the growing body of research on student engagement and campus media in Philippine higher education institutions, particularly in the Bicol Region.

It also underscores the commitment of CSPC-CAS faculty members to advancing research productivity and scholarly engagement aligned with the institutionโ€™s vision for academic excellence.

Terano, for the successful publication of his research study, โ€œExamining the Correlation between Mathematical Resilience, Achievement Goals, and Mathematics Performance of Engineering Studentsโ€ in the International Journal of Engineering Pedagogy (iJEP), a Scopus Q2 and Web of Science-indexed journal.

The study explored the relationship between mathematical resilience, achievement goals, and the mathematics performance of engineering students. Through the participation of engineering students from Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, the research examined how resilience and studentsโ€™ achievement goals influence academic performance in mathematics. Findings revealed significant insights into the role of perseverance, growth mindset, and academic motivation in shaping studentsโ€™ learning experiences and performance outcomes. The study further emphasizes the importance of institutional support and educational strategies that foster resilience and promote student success in engineering education.

The study explored the academic resilience of business students in higher education institutions, focusing on dimensions such as confidence, social support, adaptability, and purposefulness. It also examined the relationship between academic resilience and selected personal and socio-economic characteristics, highlighting the studentsโ€™ ability to persist and succeed despite challenges. The findings served as the basis for proposing a multi-modal learning continuity plan to further strengthen academic resilience among business students.
