What a fulfilling day to be part of the๐พ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ฐ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ฅ๐: ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ซ๐๐ก๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐, ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.๐พThis event was a great starting point to stand up for animal rights, turning our passion into action.
The talk was led by our three resource speakers,
๐๐ผ, who skillfully tackled animal welfare rights, responsible pet ownership, and the stray community. Free legal consultation was also available which was led by ๐๐๐๐. ๐ ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ฒรฑ๐ฎ where individuals could seek advice related to animal welfare cases.
After the event, a first set of UNC Protection of Animal Welfare - Students' Association officers for S. Y. 2026- 2027 was elected. They will ensure that through their leadership the UNCeans are guided towards various volunteer initiatives and programs that aim to create a safe and inclusive environment not only for our furry friends but also for the entire UNC community.
We want to extend our appreciation to everyone who was part of this event. You are the reason for its success, making us even more motivated to continue with our mission: to be the voice of the voiceless.
Weโre just getting started, and we canโt wait to share with you what our association has in store for our beloved PAWSA!๐ฉถโจ
