When we say "𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢!", it’s usually to get to our destination. This time, we’re saying "𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘢!" to stand together and support the people behind the wheel.

Rising fuel prices shouldn’t mean empty tables. In response, the proponents from the 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗦𝗦𝗡𝗦), in partnership with the 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗜𝗖𝗘𝗦), present “𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 ‘𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮!’: 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲.” We’re calling on all UNCeans to turn empathy into action!

The calamity brought by has left Catanduanes in ruin and its citizens struggling. Heart for Philippines UK has called upon us, the UNC community, to lend their aid towards our Catandunganon brothers and sisters through an 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙩𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚.

In collaboration with Tarabangan - Bicol Disaster Volunteer Network and the UNC Institutionalized Community Extension Services (ICES), the Society of Junior Fellows will do its duty in becoming a bridge between our community and Brgy. Cadarao.

During the Senior High School Intramurals 2025 last October 6–10, the UNC–College Red Cross Youth Council was on standby, ready to provide immediate medical care for all athletes and participants.

Thanks to our dedicated Red Cross Youth volunteers, every game was safer and every participant felt supported. Their commitment, readiness, and compassion ensured that fun and sportsmanship went hand in hand with safety. 💙✨

When the call for help was heard, the UNC community answered—with open hearts and helping hands. Through the C.A.R.E.S. Initiative (Community Assistance, Relief, and Emotional Support), students, faculty, and organizations came together to turn empathy into action and compassion into service.

Through the Donation Drive, One Meal, One Hope Movement, and Project Liham: Messages of Hope, the UNC community extended not only material aid but also emotional and moral support to our kababayans affected by Typhoon Opong in Masbate. 💙

To everyone who donated, volunteered, and shared their compassion—thank you. Your collective effort reminds us that in times of crisis, unity and kindness are our greatest strength. ❤️

Together, we live out the UNC motto, “Non scholae, Sed vitae” — not of school, but of life. True compassion is not just felt—it is lived. ✨
