Mr. Chancoco highlighted that the multidisciplinary press welcomes diverse materials, including textbooks, academic journals, literary anthologies, and e-books. He discussed the submission checklist, process flowchart, copyright, and author benefits, explaining that submitted manuscripts are evaluated through an editorial blind review based on marketability (40%), novelty or originality (40%), and "Bikolness" (20%). To apply, prospective authors must submit their manuscripts along with a letter of intent and an updated CV. The press enforces rigorous professional ethics by strictly prohibiting plagiarism, historical revisionism, and simultaneous submissions. The webinar concluded with a question-and-answer session, during which Mr. Chancoco addressed participants' inquiries.

Serving as the first installment of an eight-part series, the webinar featured ๐——๐—ฟ. ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ด๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ ๐—™. ๐—™๐—ฎ๐—ท๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ผ, the Dean of RACE, as the distinguished keynote speaker. During the session, Dr. Fajardo reframed desk rejections as valuable opportunities for growth, advising authors to use editorial feedback objectively to refine their work. To proactively prevent these rejections, she recommended targeting journals directly from the manuscript's own reference list and thoroughly auditing a journalโ€™s aims and scope before submission. She also noted that ignoring basic author formatting guidelines is one of the most common and easily avoidable mistakes leading to immediate rejection. Finally, the webinar stressed the importance of identifying and avoiding predatory journals. Dr. Fajardo warned that these deceptive platforms compromise professional credibility, bypass authentic peer review, and trick researchers into signing away their copyrights.
