PREAMBLE
We, the members of the UNC chapter of the Association of Bicol Business Students, uniting ourselves into one organization that will promote teamwork and camaraderie among ourselves, to support young entrepreneurs excel in business, to be involved in community and nation building as we actively contribute to economic development that will utilize our business education and skills, do here
by ordain and promulgate his Constitution and By-laws. DECLARATION OF PRINCIPLES, MISSION, PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Sec. 1 This organization serves as the umbrella organization that covers and unites under one banner all seven existing accredited academic organization of UNC commerce students majoring in Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and Bachelor of Science in entrepreneurship (BS). These academic organizations are: Junior Bankers and Financiers Association “JBFA” for BSBA Financial Management, Economics Society “ECOSOC” for BSBA Business Economics, Junior Management Institute “JMI” for BSBA Human Resource Development Management and BSBA in Operation Management, Junior Marketing Professionals for BSBA Marketing Management, Office Administration Society “OAS” for BSBA Office Administration, Young Entrepreneurs Society “YES” for Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Society of Hotel and Restaurant Management Majors“SHRMM” for BSBA Hotel and Restaurant Management Majors. Sec. 2 This organization is formed with the basic task of encouraging its members to participate fully and actively in all the related courses in commerce offered by the University of Nueva Caceres, and in every activity of the BSBA and BS Entrepreneurship programs in the College of Business and Accountancy. Sec. 3 The organization seeks to provide and serve as an active forum for student’s ideas and needs to enable them to grow in their chosen profession in the fields of commerce and industry. The organization shall endeavor to assist in the development of commerce graduates who are competent, conscientious, committed to societal transformation and grounded in sound Christian and family values.
2. To provide its members with the opportunity to acquire knowledge, develop and share their skills in their field of specialization.
3. To enable its members to interact with peers, teachers within the university and members of the local community who are from other major areas of expertise.
4. To enable its members to network with ABBS members from the different schools in Region V and those from various sectors of society.
5. To develop social awareness and instill national consciousness among members.
6. To actively participate in the community extension activity of the ABBS- UNC Chapter and the College of Business and Accountancy.
