𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘 | The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released the results of the Licensure Exam for Professional Teachers (LEPT) held last March 2026.

The Ateneo de Naga University (AdNU) elementary category posted a 66.67% performance rate, while first-timers garnered a 100% passing rate. On the other hand, first-timers for the secondary category showed 95.24% with 85.19% of overall performance.

Overall, the results showed a 56.03% passing rate for elementary teachers, indicating that out of 32,796 examinees, 18,376 passed. Meanwhile, 45,001 secondary teachers out of 61,561 takers passed, resulting in a higher rate of 73.10%.

Meanwhile, 58 examinees were withheld pending final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations. Additionally, two examinees were withheld for further verification of submitted documents. | via John Lloyd Decin/ThePILLARS Publication

With this semester coming to an end, we also wrap up the final episode of the Literasaya Campaign Caravan and Collab for this term.

Last May 1, 2026, “Na Para Bang Fake?!: Teens’ Guide to AI and Media” LiteraSAYA Episode 3 on Media and Digital Literacy was held at Camaligan Parish Hall. It brought together young minds eager to explore the power, impact, and risks of media and AI in today’s digital world. ✨

Through this seminar, with the help of our distinguished speakers who shared their expertise, the participants boosted their awareness of essential 21st-century literacy skills, equipping them to become smarter and more responsible media users. 💡

This may close our final episode for this semester, but our service, collaboration, and courage to make a difference will carry on beyond this.

Guided by grace and through the blessing of pens during today’s Thanksgiving Mass, it’s now time for our pre-service teachers to receive these pens, a symbol of their calling to teach, filled not only with ink but with purpose, wisdom, and inspiration.

Guided by grace, we will celebrate a special Mass for our graduating students as they prepare to step into a new chapter of their lives. As part of this meaningful occasion, there will also be a blessing of pens, symbols of knowledge, wisdom, and guidance for the examinations and dreams that lie ahead. 🖊️

Successfully held last March 14, at Barobaybay, Magarao, LiteraSAYA 2: TiponWise brought together facilitators and participants in a meaningful initiative focused on promoting financial literacy and smart saving habits. 💫

Through interactive sessions and engaging activities, the caravan empowered participants with practical knowledge on managing finances wisely highlighting the importance of informed decision-making and responsible financial practices in everyday life.

As we continue the journey of LiteraSAYA under the theme “𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘆 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀", Episode 3: Media and Digital Literacy calls on everyone to take part in guiding young individuals. This session aims to deepen their understanding of the influence of AI and media in everyday life, while empowering them to become critical thinkers, responsible users, and ethical creators of digital content.

Featuring our distinguished speakers, tomorrow brings a timely and meaningful learning experience.

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗮 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘀 𝗡𝗲𝗼 of the Ateneo Film Society will open the session with “𝘉𝘦𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯: 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘪𝘥𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘐-𝘔𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢.” Her talk will explore the risks associated with artificial intelligence in digital media—such as fake news, deepfakes, manipulated visuals, privacy issues, online scams, and the spread of harmful content.

Following her, 𝗚𝗶𝗹 𝗝𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗣𝗲ñ𝗮𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗿 of the Ateneo Consortium of Technological, Information and Computing Sciences (TACTICS) will lead the second session, “𝘚𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘜𝘴𝘦, 𝘚𝘢𝘧𝘦 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦: 𝘙𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘈𝘐 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘛𝘦𝘦𝘯𝘴.” This discussion will highlight the ethical and productive use of AI tools among adolescents, encouraging mindful and responsible engagement with technology.

To conclude, 𝗘𝗱𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗼 of The Pillars Publication will deliver “𝘛𝘳𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘊𝘩𝘦𝘤𝘬: 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘔𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘈𝘐.” His session will equip participants with practical strategies to identify, question, and challenge false or misleading information online.

Together, these speakers will provide valuable insights and meaningful conversations that promote awareness, responsibility, and digital empowerment. 📳

After a two-month pause, the wait is finally over as the LiteraSAYA Campaign: Caravan and Collab comes back this May with a renewed purpose, traveling to 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗵 to continue the journey and begin a new chapter centered on raising awareness about emerging literacy issues while equipping students and the community with a deeper understanding of AI and media’s influence in everyday life.📱🤳🏻
