Mactan Hiram Lodge No. 21 actively took part in a feeding program organized under the Central Visayas 1 Inspectorate, where 150 children from Angasil, Mactan were the beneficiaries. To make the initiative even more meaningful, the inspectorate collaborated with local partners, including the 212th CGAS PCGA, Phil-Pakistan, and Land Asia Realty.

On May 31, 2025, Mactan Hiram Lodge No. 21, led by Immediate Past Master Bro. Armand Dela Cruz, conducted Operation Tuli—a free circumcision outreach benefiting 100 children in Lower 2 Kaiktay, Jaguimit, City of Naga.

“In a race between a lion and a deer, many times, the deer wins because the lion runs for food and the deer runs for life.”

Interpretation:

The lion runs because it's hungry — it wants to eat. The deer, on the other hand, runs because its life is on the line. Even though the lion is often seen as stronger or more dominant, the deer's deeper motivation (to stay alive) gives it an edge. That urgency, that emotional investment, pushes the deer beyond its physical limitations

Core Message:

“Purpose is more important than need.” Need is basic — it pushes us. Purpose is deeper — it drives us. In life, if you're just doing something because you "have to" or "need to," your energy will burn out quickly. But if you're doing it because it matters deeply to you, because it's tied to your identity, passion, or survival — you'll keep going even when it's hard.
