‎The activities mentioned above are ways to improve vital abilities including coordination, communication, critical thinking, and technical proficiency while also equipping midshipmen/midshipwomen students to act appropriately in emergency and real-world scenarios. Cadets become more competent, self-assured, and dependable members of the unit as a result of these training sessions, which also foster discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. The activities during the LAGTI 2026 allows the unit to improve on areas that needs development.

In conjunction with the conduct of the 2026 Local Annual General Tactical Inspection (LAGTI), a delegation from the 565th Naval Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (NROTC) Unit officially paid a courtesy call to the University President, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗖. 𝗖𝗮𝗻̃𝗲𝘇𝗼 𝗝𝗿., 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗣, yesterday, March 23, 2026, at the Biliran Province State University Main Campus.

Leading the delegation was Assistant Commandant 𝗟𝗖𝗗𝗥 𝗝𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗡̃𝗢𝗦 𝗣𝗡, who officially represented the Commandant, 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧 𝗘𝗠𝗠𝗔𝗡𝗨𝗘𝗟 𝗔 𝗣𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗢𝗡 𝗣𝗡(𝗚𝗦𝗖). Joining the official visit was Assistant POIC 𝗣𝗢𝟮 𝗝𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗔. 𝗔𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗼 𝗣𝗡, Training Staff 𝗦𝗡𝟭 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝗥𝗼𝘂𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗘 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗣𝗡 of the 565th NROTCU BiPSU, 𝗦𝗦𝗴𝘁 𝗞𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹 𝗗 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗡(𝗠), and 𝗣𝗢𝟮 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗥 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝘂𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗡(𝗥𝗲𝘀). The formal engagement was graciously facilitated and coordinated by the MTS Coordinator, 𝗣𝗢𝟯 𝗘𝗱𝗴𝗮𝗿 𝗙. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗱𝗼 𝗣𝗡(𝗥𝗲𝘀).

This engagement reflects the continued commitment of the institution in strengthening the ROTC program through collaboration, guidance, and support for the development of 565th NROTCU BiPSU students.

‎The 565th NROTC Unit has finally conducted their most awaited event where they have showcased their unity, discipline, talent and tactical skills during the 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐋𝐀𝐆𝐓𝐈) 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 on March 23 at the Biliran Province State University Main Campus. LAGTI evaluates and assesses the preparedness, performance, unity and discipline of the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) unit.

‎The guest speaker 𝐃𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐂. 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐳𝐨 𝐉𝐫., 𝐂𝐇𝐑𝐏, BiPSU University President, expressed and shared his gratitude and admiration for the cadets' commitment and discipline during the event.

‎"This inspection is a checkpoint not just for your uniforms, your weapons, or your formations, but for your character, your discipline, and your readiness to serve,” President Cañezo said during his speech for the Midshipmen/Midshipwomen cadets and officers.

‎As the LAGTI is getting closer, everyone are tensed and are now focused in their practice. Students are intensely focusing in their designated fields so they can perform well in the upcoming event .

‎Activities are strictly supervised by their designated officers so the students can be more focused and master the lessons well. Students are encouraged and are trained well where they can be more skilled and honed, enabling their knowledge to broaden.

‎The 565th NROTC Unit conducted their 9th and 10th training day yesterday, March 6, 2026.
‎
‎Activities in their training day includes Manual of Arms, Morse Code, Flag Signaling, Ceremonial, Company Drill, Line Throwing, First Aid and Raid and Ambush spearheaded by SSgt Kent Carmel D Makinta PN(M).
‎
‎As the LAGTI is fast approaching, the students have continued strict training in their respective fields to further strengthen their skills and knowledge. They have practiced rigorously to master their assigned fields.
‎
‎The mentioned activity was facilitated by the Training Staffs, 1st class, 2nd class, 3rd class and 4th class officers.
