One hundred and thirty-nine years of holding our history, our stories, and our dreams within its walls. It is where our heroes’ writings are kept safe, where our ancestors’ wisdom lives on, and where every Filipino can come to learn, discover, and be proud of our identity.

More than just a repository of knowledge, it is a sanctuary for learners, a source of inspiration for writers and scholars, and a beacon of truth accessible to every Filipino. Through wars, changes, and progress, it has remained steadfast in its mission: to collect, protect, and share the wealth of our nation’s intellectual and cultural heritage.

May the National Library continue to thrive, grow, and serve generations more — bridging our glorious past with a bright future. Here’s to 139 years of excellence, service, and love for Philippine literature and history. Happy 139th Anniversary! 📚✨

On August 1, 2026, as this day comes to an end, we remember Former President Corazon C. Aquino and the legacy she left behind. Her courage, commitment to democracy, and dedication to serving the Filipino people continue to inspire generations.

As the first woman President of the Philippines, she played a vital role in restoring democratic institutions and inspiring generations to stand for truth, freedom, and unity.

May her dedication to public service continue to remind us that true leadership is not measured by power, but by one's willingness to serve the people.

As we honor her memory, may we continue to uphold the democratic values she fought to restore and remain committed to building a nation founded on integrity, justice, and hope for future generations.

Ngayong araw, ginugunita natin ang ika-162 na kapanganakan ni Apolinario Mabini, na kilala bilang "Dakilang Lumpo" at "Utak ng Himagsikan." Sa kabila ng kanyang kapansanan, naging mahalaga ang kanyang papel sa pagtatatag ng Unang Republika ng Pilipinas sa pamamagitan ng kanyang talino, prinsipyo, at pagmamahal sa bayan.
