Our APCC President Maria Belle B. Arcete and Vice President Irish May C. Batingal—alongside COFE President Kate L. Manlanot, CSC Treasurer Roumarie B. Ybañez, CSC Business Manager Joshua A. Leones, and CSC Adviser Sir Jonik A. Hitio, LPT—proudly took part in the "RM: Responsive Minds – Young Leaders L.E.A.D for Safer Campuses" seminar last September 22, 2026, at Narra Hall, Molave Hotel, Tagum City, Davao del Norte.

This powerful gathering focused on mental health awareness, psychosocial well-being, safe spaces, and anti-school violence. We couldn't have done it without the incredible backing of the Provincial Local Government Unit of Davao de Oro, Department of Health, our DdOSC New Bataan Branch Director Ma'am Wendy Mae W. Dulos, MBA, our SASU Head Sir Christian Jade Gadogdog, MPA, Sir Jonik A. Hitio, LPT, our adviser Ma'am Stephane Marie G. De Los Reyes, RPm, RGC and Davao de Oro State College for always advocating holistic student development.

In celebration of the International Coastal Cleanup, the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) of Local Government Unit (LGU) of New Bataan, Davao de Oro spearheaded a river cleanup drive at Mayo River, Barangay Andap, New Bataan, leading the effort to protect our local ecosystems and waterways.

Joining this initiative, the Association of Peer Catalysts for Change (APCC) volunteered alongside student organizations from Davao de Oro State College (DDOSC), proving that youth leadership and unity can drive real environmental change!

Every action counts toward a cleaner, greener future. Let’s continue to be catalysts for change! 💚✨

A new chapter begins as the Association of Peer Catalysts for Change (APCC) welcomed its new members during the 𝟏𝒔𝒕 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 held today at 8:00 AM in the DDOSC-NB Student Lounge.

The gathering gave our members an opportunity to get acquainted, learn more about the organization’s by-laws, and stay informed about our upcoming programs, activities, and events.

More than just a meeting, it was a chance to build connections, strengthen our sense of community, and prepare for the meaningful work ahead.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦| APCC Screening Interview

𝑷𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆, 𝒅𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂 𝒅𝒊𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆.

On September 3 and 7, the Association of Peer Catalysts for Change (APCC) conducted screening interview for prospective applicants to the organization. More than simply answering questions, the interview served as an opportunity to identify individuals who are prepared to uphold the organization’s mission and values while demonstrating empathy, commitment, and a strong sense of purpose.

We extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who took the initiative and courage to apply and participate in the screening process. Your willingness to step forward and become part of APCC is truly commendable and we are proud of everyone who took this meaningful step toward service and leadership.

On September 01, 2026, the DdOSC New Bataan Student Affairs and Services Unit and the Association of Peer Catalysts for Change (APCC) prepared a simple surprise for Ma’am Vivilyn V. Porlares, Appraisal and Testing Section Coordinator, as she begins a new chapter outside Davao de Oro State College–New Bataan Branch.

Ma’am Viv, thank you for the kindness, time, guidance, and support you have shared with us throughout your time in the college. Your presence and the moments we shared with you have become meaningful parts of our journey as an organization. We are truly grateful for every reminder, encouragement, and lesson you have shared with us. 💚

Although we are sad to see you leave, we are also happy to see you take on a new chapter in your journey. We hope you know how much you are appreciated and how your presence has made a positive impact on the people around you.
