Students of the science department from Romblon State University, College of Education, shined in the Likhamon 2026 Promax: The Pitching and Student Research Congress.
Fourth year students took the 2nd place in Student Research Congress under Social Sciences, Humanities, and Education. Their research study titled "Effectiveness of Biorender in Learning Cell Division Among Grade 7 Students" clinched the silver medal through the collaborative efforts of Heshelle B. Flordeliz, Fhel John G. Manzana, Ella Kezeiah T. Amar, and Eunice U. Urbano.
Meanwhile, the team of 3rd year students Angel G. Francisco, Aileen Mae A. Gadaoni, Diane M. Mangat, and Francheska Eliz O. Marcelo recorded a bronze-worthy research significance under the same category. The study of Francisco et al. titled "CliMade Board Game: Enhancing Grade 9 Students' Understanding of Global Climate Phenomena" etched a name in the research congress.
Creativity, research contribution, and aesthetic appeal made the team of Mark Kenn Angelo F. Mazo, Rosell Jarah Vi D. Capillo, Jahnia T. Herrera, and Maria Lady Azenith C. Alfonso, grab the Best Poster award under the category of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Education. Their research study "Design, Development, and Evaluation of LaBox Express: A Portable Laboratory-in-a-Box for Biology Experiment" engraved the winning masterpiece in their artwork.
