It has come to the attention of the RSU administration that a Facebook post is circulating, claiming that all graduating students from all learning levels will soon receive cash assistance from the Commission on Higher Education (CHED). The post further urges students to register for a payout scheduled for April 15, 2025.

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has not announced any cash assistance program as described in the aforementioned Facebook post. Any links associated with this post could potentially lead to phishing attempts or other malicious activities that may compromise personal information and online security.
The administration urges all students, faculty, staff, and the public to be extremely cautious and vigilant when encountering such posts on social media. They are advised to refrain from sharing this fake information and, if they have already shared it, they are advised to retract their post immediately.
