In response to this call, the Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) 4th Year students of Romblon State University - San Fernando Campus will proudly hold a high-impact professional seminar with the theme:
โFOSTERING IMPECCABLE CHARACTER, SECURE OPERATIONS, AND VISIONARY LEADERSHIP FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF HOTELIERSโ
This milestone seminar will be held on October 23, 2026, at the RSU San Fernando Campus, embodying our institutional mantra: "SERVING BEYOND HONOR AND EXCELLENCEโ.
This seminar is more than an academic requirement; it is a strategic preparation for our graduating students as they transition from the university to the professional world of hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and tourism enterprises. The program is designed to holistically develop future hoteliers who are not only skilled but also ethical, safety-conscious, and data-responsible leaders.
To ensure a comprehensive and industry-relevant learning experience, we are honored to be joined by three distinguished resource speakers who are experts in their respective fields:
Asst. Prof. NOEL R. ROYO
Topic: "Safety, Health and Emergency Protocol"
Prof. Royo will discuss the critical foundation of hospitality operations - the safety and well-being of guests and personnel. His session will cover occupational safety, health standards, risk management, and emergency preparedness, which are non-negotiable competencies for every hotelier in the post-pandemic hospitality era.

Topic: "Data Privacy in Hospitality Operations"
In an age of digital check-ins, online bookings, and guest data management, data privacy is a cornerstone of guest trust. Ms. Paloma will shed light on the Data Privacy Act of 2012, ethical handling of guest information, and how to build secure and compliant hospitality systems that protect both the guest and the establishment.
