𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀!

On November 20, 2025, at the RSU Audio Visual Room, the College of Computing, Multimedia Arts, and Digital Innovation (CCMADI) hosted a highly engaging Research Pitching Seminar-Workshop for 3rd year students in preparation for the upcoming SIKLABAN 2025 in the category Research Pitching.

The seminar started with a warm welcome from Ma. Cielo A. Motin, Associate Dean of CCMADI, followed by an overview from Dean Catherine Bhell B. Aguila, reminding students that the sole purpose of the event is to equip them with the skills that effectively present their research ideas. Participants enjoyed performances by BSIT and BMMA students during intermissions. Preexcy B. Tupas led an informative session on “Mastering the Art of Pitching,” which showcased the valuable techniques in pitching. Engr. Mark Lawrence Ical discussed “Entrepreneurial Mindsetting,” sharing the thought-provoking notion that “Life throws us many pens at once, but never tells us which pen to choose.”

The seminar concluded with the presentation of Certificates of Recognition and closing remarks from Nova Marie Rosas, Chairperson of BMMA. Thanking participants for actively engaging during the whole event, and reminding them to apply and foster the lessons learned during the seminar.

The event was a great success, offering valuable insights and creating a collaborative atmosphere for aspiring researchers.
