We would love to commend our brothers at Our Lady of Mercy College, Borongan City who finished their academic quest for their Bachelor's degree, BS in Criminology.

Along the way, you experienced numerous struggles both in personal life and academe that challenged your skills and abilities. However it never limits your capabilities in facing your adversities, and now your resiliency and eagerness in shaping your endeavors had blossomed. My brethren, continue to thrive for greatness, the ladder to success could be steep and exhausting, but always remember, your fraternity are always got your back, supporting your cause unconditionally.

On behalf of our organization, charter, and our local council, we are commending our fellow members who graduated this academic year 2023-2024. Congratulations!

During this shady time, we all experienced hard times and adversity, which in fact we now lived in a world of disruption and uncertainty, wherein change is the only constant. Believe me, students are one of the vulnerable individuals who are exposed within the 21st century's dilemma. Along their academe journey in pursuing a dream of higher education in undergraduate studies, they encountered challenges such as financial constraint that wrecked their morale. As a result, it became a gaps in chasing the quest of their education.

Brothers, you defined the meaning of the word, "Iron Clad", your perseverance and resiliency paid off, you applied the values that you learned in Alpha Kappa Rho Teachings. It is true that education cannot be taken away from you, indeed it was the most precious treasure we can obtain in life. However education must be fused with character, because it is nonsense, if you are educated but does not have a moral or ethics. A man who is educated but does not have a manner is not accepted in the society, it is a contagious disgrace of dignity and reputation. As hemmingway said, there is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man, true nobility is being superior to your former self. So let us be humble all the time, so we can be a gentlemen.
