ACLC College of Ormoc City proudly congratulates our School Director, Mr. Cary P. Jaucian, MBA, for receiving the Most Distinguished Alumni Award during the 32nd Founding Anniversary: Grand Alumni 2026 of Saint Paul School of Professional Studies, August 15.

Sir Cary was also elected as President of the Alumni Association, another milestone that reflects the trust placed in his leadership and commitment to service.

𝐀𝐂𝐋𝐂 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐟é 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

ACLC College of Ormoc City proudly participated in the World Café of Opportunities (WCO) 2026, organized by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) – Leyte Provincial Office, under the leadership of Provincial Director Engr. Enrico C. Banario, at Robinsons Ormoc, August 15.

As part of the event, ACLC Ormoc provided a Mocktail/Non-Alcoholic Beverage and Finger-Food Demonstration and Tasting Station, offering WCO participants and guests a showcase of the practical skills, creativity, and hospitality competencies developed through quality technical-vocational education and training.

Making the activity possible were the dedicated BSHM 4C students, who are TESDA scholars who continued their educational journey toward earning a bachelor’s degree. Their participation reflects how technical-vocational training can serve as a strong foundation for further education, professional growth, and career advancement.

The College also extends its appreciation to the Hospitality Management instructors, Mr. Ajan Osma, Ms. Daisy Panilaga, and Ms. Alice Batistis, for their guidance and assistance in the preparation and demonstration, and to Dean of College Dr. Daffodel Dadulla, for the support and leadership that contributed to the success of ACLC Ormoc’s participation.

Among 11 competing colleges and universities, ACLC College of Ormoc City, Inc., once again proved that excellence in Information Technology is no accident, earning the 1st Runner-Up title and the Best in CashTokens Project award at the CashScript Hackathon on August 1-2, 2026 at Summit Galleria, Cebu City.

This remarkable achievement reflects the passion, innovation, and competitive spirit of our talented College of Computer Studies students, Denz Merin, Ljay Pogoy, and John Kenneth Dignos under the guidance of their coaches, Ms. Richelle Gatchalian, IT Instructor and Mr. Allan Catayoc.Together, they continue to raise the bar and demonstrate why ACLC Ormoc remains one of the leading institutions for IT education.

Competing against 11 colleges and universities, our talented student innovators demonstrated exceptional technical expertise, creativity, and teamwork, earning not only the 1st Runner -Up title but also the 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 for 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗵𝗧𝗼𝗸𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁. Their remarkable accomplishment reflects their passion for innovation, excellence in blockchain technology, and the quality of education provided by ACLC College of Ormoc City.

This success would not have been possible without the dedicated guidance of their coaches, Ms. Richelle Gatchalian, IT instructor and Mr. Allan Catayoc, whose mentorship and unwavering commitment inspired the team throughout the competition.
