𝗘𝗫𝗘𝗖𝗨𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘 𝗢𝗥𝗗𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗢. 2026-011
Designating Authorized SSG Officers to Sign Student Clearance Documents for the First Semester

In accordance with the responsibilities vested upon the Supreme Student Government (SSG) of the City College of Ormoc, and to ensure a smooth, timely, and properly authorized First Semester Student Clearance process, the 3rd City College of Ormoc Supreme Student Government (CCO-SSG), through its President, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐡 𝐕. 𝐓𝐨𝐧̃𝐚𝐝𝐚, hereby issues Executive Order No. 2026-011.

This Order formally designates authorized SSG officers to sign the SSG portion of the First Semester Student Clearance in the absence, unavailability, or inability of the SSG President to personally perform the signing.

Each designated officer is assigned to specific academic programs and shall serve as the Primary Authorized Signatory for students under their respective programs. Primary signatories shall handle the signing whenever available, while designated alternate signatories may act when the primary signatory is unavailable or unable to perform the task.

The authorized officers are responsible for ensuring that every clearance is properly presented, verified, and completed before signing. Their authority is limited to the SSG clearance signing, verification, confirmation of completion, and other acts directly necessary for the proper processing and release of the clearance. It shall not be construed as a transfer of the general powers, privileges, or functions of the SSG President. All authorized signatories shall observe the prescribed policies, regulations, and procedures governing student clearance signing, and shall exercise their authority responsibly and in good faith, so that every signature affixed is legitimate, duly authorized, and accounted for.

This measure is intended to prevent unnecessary delays in the clearance process while maintaining accountability, proper authorization, and orderly documentation for every clearance signed.

All concerned students are therefore advised to coordinate with the designated SSG officer assigned to their respective program for the proper processing and signing of their First Semester Student Clearance.

This Executive Order takes effect immediately upon issuance and shall remain in force for the First Semester Student Clearance signing period of Academic Year 2026-2027, unless earlier revoked, amended, or superseded by a subsequent order.

Last 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 30, 2026, the 𝐒𝐞𝐱𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐝𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐄-𝐀) and 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫-𝐭𝐨-𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 of 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 2026 was sucessfully conducted at the 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 and 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 3 to equip youth leaders with essentials knowledge and skills in accurate peer counseling, active listening, ethical boundaries, and appropriate referral.

The activity featured various discussions and learning sessions, with 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐗𝐲𝐫𝐚 𝐏. 𝐎𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨, the Director for Students Leaders, Publications, and other Activities, delivered the welcome message.

The morning discussion featured two sessions facilitated by 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐕. 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐑𝐆𝐂, 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐈𝐈 of the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜. The first session " 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐞: 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞, 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬." Highlighted the importance of peer counselor, their responsibilities, and the limitations of their role. The discussion also explained what a peer counselor does, including 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭, 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬, and making 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐢𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝.

In the second session entitled "𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬," focused on building rapport, active and reflecting listening , and appropriate use of silence. The participants were reminded to avoid judgment and unsolicited advise and instead create a space for peers to share.

For the afternoon session, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂. 𝐃𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐲𝐨𝐥𝐚, 𝐑𝐏𝐦, 𝐑𝐆𝐂, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, discussed "𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 & 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐥: 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐞, 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭" and "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐥-𝐁𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐄𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞." The sessions tackled the recognizing concerns beyond a peer's counselor's role, maintaining healthy boundary, practicing sustainable-care, and understanding compassion fatigue and burn-out. It also introduced the grounding techniques and "𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞" 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥 - 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐩, 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐯𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, to help manage emotions during difficult times.

The training ended by the closing remarks of 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐫, 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐁. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐚, 𝐑𝐒𝐖. Followed by the distribution of certificates and the photo sessions.

Led by the 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 (𝐈𝐏𝐆𝐃𝐎), of the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜, in partnership with the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜 (𝐂𝐂𝐎),the training brings together the CCO youth leaders and provides with a space for learning, skill building, and strengthen their capacity to provide informed peer support and promote the well-being and empowerment of fellow young people.

The 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜 (𝐂𝐂𝐎) 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, in partnership with the 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 (𝐏𝐅𝐂), wrapped up successfully the 𝐒𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 entitled "𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚 𝐭𝐨 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: 𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬" on 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 23, 2026, at the 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐲, 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐦 3, to promote mental health awareness, compassion, and appropriate support for individuals experiencing distress.

The event commenced with the registration of participants and preliminaries, followed by the opening and welcome remarks of 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐗𝐲𝐫𝐚 𝐏. 𝐎𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐨, the Director for Student Leaders, Publications, and Other Activities, an inspirational message from the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services, 𝐉𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐱 𝐌. 𝐀𝐩𝐢𝐭, 𝐑𝐒𝐖, 𝐌𝐒𝐓𝐖, and the introduction of the guest speaker by the Programme Head of Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐧𝐧 𝐆. 𝐂𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐨, 𝐑𝐆𝐂, 𝐑𝐏𝐬𝐲.

The session proper was then led by the Resource Speaker, from Visayas State University (VSU) Guidance and Counseling office, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐞𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐀. 𝐁𝐞𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐚, 𝐌.𝐄.𝐝.,𝐑𝐆𝐂, 𝐂𝐒𝐅𝐏, who disscussed the different factors that influence mental health, including physical, psychological, social, biological, economic, political, spiritual and environmental aspects.

The disscussion also introduce the 𝐀𝐋𝐆𝐄𝐄 5-𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧, which guides individuals in providing appropriate support to someone who experiencing distress: 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐦, 𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐧𝐨𝐧-𝐣𝐮𝐝𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲, 𝐆𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩, 𝐄𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩.

The session ended with the meaningful reminder, "𝐌𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐥, 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚, 𝐀𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐚," emphasizing the importance of valuing and caring oneself and others. This was followed by an opem forum, allowing the participants to engage and providing an opportunity to share their insights.

The program concluded with the Closing remarks of the CCO Guidance Counselor lll, 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐥 𝐕. 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐚, 𝐋𝐏𝐓, 𝐑𝐆𝐂, followed by the Awarding of Certificates and photo opportunity, marking a meaningful gathering centered on understanding, listening, compassion, and support in promoting mental health awareness with the City College of Ormoc Community.

The 𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐂𝐄 (𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐝𝐨𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐤𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲) 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 marked a fresh beginning for CCO’s continued commitment to promoting responsible action and sustainability. The event brought together 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲, 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟, 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and different student organizations to learn, participate, and take part in building a more sustainable community. The event was graced by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐠𝐚 𝐂. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨, 𝐂𝐂𝐎 𝐎𝐈𝐂-𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭/𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐃𝐨𝐜. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐋. 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐨, 𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧, and 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠, 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞, alongside the members of the Technical Working Group and other members of the CCO community.

The program officially opened with the remarks of 𝐃𝐨𝐜. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚 𝐋. 𝐏𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐨, who emphasized that the relaunching is only the beginning of more engaging programs, projects, and activities under BIDA CE, reminding everyone, “𝘐𝘬𝘢𝘸, 𝘢𝘬𝘰, 𝘭𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘯𝘨 𝘉𝘐𝘋𝘈 𝘴𝘢 𝘊𝘪𝘳𝘤𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘌𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘺, 𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘬 𝘊𝘊𝘖.” This was followed by an inspirational message from 𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐠𝐚 𝐂. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨, who shared his perspective as an administrator and a father. He reminded everyone that, “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘷𝘪𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘶𝘴, 𝘸𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘨𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.” He reminded everyone, that a clean and responsible community cannot be built by one person, one school, or one program alone, but through the small decisions people make every day.

One of the highlights of the relaunching was the creative showcase of the participating organizations, each assigned a specific principle from the 𝟏𝟎 𝐑’𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲. PASOA took on 𝐑𝐄𝐅𝐔𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐇, Peer Facilitators and Kahupayan presented 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑, Project SAVEME and Kiwanis showcased 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐘𝐂𝐋𝐄, TATAG highlighted 𝐑𝐄𝐔𝐒𝐄, CAPsychS and COMMBATE demonstrated 𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑, while JSWAP presented 𝐑𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊. The organizations incorporated their assigned R’s into their booth designs, presentations, activities, and creative ideas. 𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐆’𝐬 𝐑𝐄𝐔𝐒𝐄 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 received THIRD 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 with an 𝟖𝟐% 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and ₱500, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐒𝐀𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐄 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐊𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬’ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐘𝐂𝐋𝐄 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 took SECOND 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 with 𝟗𝟑% and ₱700, and 𝐊𝐚𝐡𝐮𝐩𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬’ 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐛𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡 𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐎𝐍 with a 𝟏𝟎𝟎% 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 and ₱1,000. The other participating organizations were also given consolation prizes in appreciation of their time, effort, and creativity.

The event also featured a brief discussion on the Circular Economy facilitated by 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐝, who discussed the transition from a linear economy to a circular economy and introduced the 𝟏𝟎 𝐑’𝐬, followed by an interactive game. Meanwhile, 𝐌𝐫𝐬. 𝐃𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐡 𝐃𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐞𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐠 presented the accomplishments of BIDA CE, including the challenges encountered during its early implementation. Another meaningful feature was the 𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲, where students donated items wholeheartedly for others to use, showing that things that may no longer be needed by one person can still be useful to someone else.

The program continued with the 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬, where faculty, staff, student organizations, and participants expressed their commitment through their thumbprints on the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞. As the program came to a close, the participants proceeded to the Mess Hall, where the ribbon-cutting ceremony took place. This became the very highlight of the relaunching—the moment that officially marked the fresh start of BIDA CE. More than simply cutting a ribbon, the ceremony symbolized the opening of a continuing journey toward a community that knows how to refuse, rethink, reduce, reuse, repair, refurbish, remanufacture, repurpose, recycle, and recover.

From the creativity of the booths to the generosity of the BIDA Pantry, from meaningful commitments to the official ribbon cutting, the 𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐂𝐄 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 showed that the circular economy is not merely a concept to be discussed. It is a practice that begins with everyday choices, shared responsibility, and collective action. 𝐁𝐈𝐃𝐀 𝐂𝐄 is not merely about what we do with what we throw away. It is about recognizing that there is still purpose in what we have, value in what we can restore, and possibility in what we choose to give another chance.

Spearheaded by the 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 (𝐏𝐅𝐂) of the 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐦𝐨𝐜, the events focuses on 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 on how compassion and understanding can help us better to support those experiencing distress.
