These are the scholarship category breakdowns:

Category A recipients will be granted a Full Scholarship, which includes:
• 100% coverage of school fees for the 1st semester
• A book allowance of ₱1,500
• A monthly allowance of ₱200

Category B recipients will also receive a Full Scholarship, covering:
• 100% of school fees for the 1st semester

Misamis University earns its first global recognition in the world university rankings!

The World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) have just released their 2025 results, evaluating 4,866 programs from 1,253 universities across 87 countries.

We are proud to announce that Misamis University is now ranked:
✔︎ 70th in Visionary Leadership
✔︎ 88th in Student Mobility and Openness

The World’s Universities with Real Impact (WURI) began in 2018 alongside the founding of the Hanseatic League of Universities (HLU) at Hanze University in the Netherlands. Inspired by the original Hanseatic League’s spirit of cooperation, WURI was launched as a global ranking for higher education institutions focused on innovation and real-world impact. It was renamed the World University Rankings for Innovation in 2023.

WURI, along with Times Higher Education (THE) and Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) (both UK-based), as well as the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings (Indonesia-based), is recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) of the Philippines.

This is a historic milestone. Misamis University is now recognized on the world stage!
