Today, we celebrate the birth and enduring legacy of the “𝙇𝙖𝙙𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙇𝙖𝙢𝙥”, whose compassion, intelligence, and dedication transformed nursing into a profession grounded in care, discipline, and service.

Born on 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮, 𝟭𝟴𝟮𝟬, 𝙁𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙡𝙚 revolutionized healthcare through her tireless efforts in patient care, healthcare reform, and nursing education. Her unwavering service during the Crimean War earned her the title “The Lady with the Lamp,” symbolizing hope, compassion, and selfless dedication to humanity.

Her legacy continues to inspire every student nurse, healthcare worker, and future healer to serve with competence, courage, resilience, and a heart devoted to caring for others.

Today, we honor and celebrate her remarkable contributions to healthcare and the nursing profession. May her light continue to guide and inspire generations of nurses around the world.🤍🩵✨

With heavy hearts, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of 𝗚𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝗻 𝗖. 𝗘𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗠𝗔𝗡, 𝗥𝗡, a faculty member of the College of Nursing, Midwifery, and Radiologic Technology.

Your memory and your teachings will remain in our hearts forever.

Ma’am Gina was known as one of the kindest and most compassionate individual, someone who treated her students as her own. She continually inspired them to pursue their dreams of becoming competent and compassionate nurses. Her students remain deeply grateful for the knowledge she shared and, more importantly, for the compassion and values she instilled in them.

The news of her passing has left a profound sense of sorrow among those who knew her. It was a heartbreaking moment that deeply affected her students, colleagues, and loved ones. She will always be remembered, and the lessons she imparted will continue to guide those she mentored.

She was deeply loved by many. More than a teacher, she was someone who touched lives and shaped hearts. During psychiatric-orthopedic affiliations, she stood as a mother figure to her students, offering guidance, support, and care. Many consider themselves blessed to have learned from her and to have shared even a part of their journey with such a remarkable mentor.

Losing such a passionate and dedicated Clinical Instructor is truly a great loss to the community. Those who had the privilege of being under her supervision witnessed her gentle nature, patience, and unwavering dedication to her profession and her students. Her influence has left a lasting impact on the nursing journeys of many.

In peace, may her journey be safe, and may her memories continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. She will always be remembered with love and kindness.

On Easter Sunday, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ—the foundation of our faith. His rising from the dead represents the ultimate triumph over sin and death, giving us the hope and promise of eternal life. It fulfills God’s promise and reveals His limitless love and mercy, shown through a sacrifice beyond human understanding.

As we remember this sacred event, we are reminded of the power of hope and the life-changing strength of faith. In times of darkness and struggle, Christ’s resurrection brings light, renewal, and the invitation to begin again. It encourages us to rise above challenges, trusting that nothing is greater than God’s love and power.

May this Easter inspire us to live with love, compassion, and service, following the example of Christ. Let us carry its message in our hearts, spreading peace, joy, and hope, like Him, we can overcome whatever trials we face.

"𝙃𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙖 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙚𝙨𝙩!"– 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 21:9

With hearts full of joy, we proclaim, “Hosanna in the highest!” as we celebrate Palm Sunday, the start of Holy Week. On this sacred day, we remember Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where He was welcomed with palm branches and honored as King.

Palm Sunday is both joyful and reflective. The same voices that cried “Hosanna!” would later shout “Crucify Him,” reminding us how easily faith can weaken. It calls us to examine our hearts and stay faithful to Christ in all moments.

As we hold our blessed palms, may they represent not only our praise, but also our commitment to walk with Jesus—from His entry into Jerusalem, through His Passion, and toward the joy of the Resurrection.

Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. 🌿🕊⛪✞
