HAPPY NURSE’S DAY! ✨

Before the textbooks, before the scrubs, before the theories we now recite — there was a woman with a lamp and an unshakable will.

206 years later, her light still guides us. Through the dark wards of Crimea to the hospitals we serve today, she taught us that nursing is more than tasks. It’s statistics. It’s sanitation. It’s sacrifice. It’s staying when everyone else leaves.

She walked with a lamp so others could walk toward healing. And every time we check a pulse at midnight, advocate for a patient, or wash our hands between beds, we carry that same flame.

To all Clinical Instructors, Staff, Nurses across the globe, who carry the flame, Happy Nurse’s Day to you all! Animo La Salle! 💚🤍

The College of Nursing proudly held its first-ever Research Colloquium — and what a success it was!

Despite the hectic schedules, back-to-back duties, and countless hurdles, the College of Nursing pulled it off. Our student researchers stood at the podium with confidence, sharing studies that reflect critical thinking, compassion, and the Lasallian commitment to excellene and service.

This milestone wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of the NATCH Council who organized every detail to perfection, with the steadfast guidance of our CON Research Team. Your hard work turned vision into reality.

To our presenters, panelists, faculty, and students: you proved that even in the busiest season, excellence has no excuse.

The College of Nursing of La Salle University will hold its Research Colloquium 2026 on April 27, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Anchored on the theme “Advancing Nursing Through Knowledge: Bridging Research and Compassionate Care,” this academic gathering serves as a platform for the presentation and exchange of research outputs that contribute to the continuous growth of nursing practice.

Through the collaboration of student researchers and academic mentors, this event highlights the value of evidence-based practice in shaping more compassionate, competent, and responsive nursing care.
